About This Game

Ants is an especially challenging game of skill where you have to solve diverse and interesting puzzles that can be solved by using the different tools you get on each stage. Note that each level has a unique solution and you will have to find it by using previous and current stage clues. A correct solution will lead you to the next level and so on until getting to a complete solution and finishing the game.

Inspired By Lemmings!

That morning there were no signs of trouble. Ants were working peacefully, when the storm suddenly rose and carried them far away.
Now, the ants have to find their way back home, through all obstacles and dangers.

They have all the necessary equipment in order to:
- Climb the walls
- Sail through waters
- Build tunnels
- Skydive
- Dig the pits
- Run through mazes

But to get back home poor ants will need to use the equipment wisely. And now you are the only one who can help them.

"Ants! Mission of the salvation" is an unabashed, lazy ripoff of Lemmings (Copyright Psygnosis, 1991). Many lazy "amateur" developers don't pay attention to their obligations under copyright law, and often steal the ideas of actual, real game developers without credit, such as the "developer" here has done. At this stage no legal action has been taken by Psygnosis against the "developer" here, but it's never off the table, as previous copyright law cases have shown. Putting aside the unethical intellectual bankruptcy of stealing someone else's game concept for profit, this is also breaking that unwritten law of stealing other people's game ideas... you should at least try to do better than the game you're ripping off. "Ants! Mission of the salvation" is considerably worse than Lemmings. Just like Lemmings, ants drop down and autowalk, turning around and walking in the other direction if they hit an obstacle, falling down if they can, and your mission is to use special abilities to...

Pros: Cheap, reminds me of lemmings. Cons: Short (not many levels), Easy (most of the levels are to easy), Hints (does not work, they show the wrong level), Game says you completed everything when you have atleast 5 levels left. Summary: If you played lemmings back when and you get it for around 50 cent go for it. You will waste about 2 hours between changing diapers and making dinner while game is still runnging.

This is a cute game, and since it's a pretty low price, I do recommend it if you really like lemmings-type games and looking for something to kill a little bit of time. It definitely reminded me of the lemmings game I used to play way back on MS-DOS, even the frustration of not being able to perfectly time my stair-building. (Sweating smiling emoji). The only thing that I would really like to see in a game like this that isn't there is the ability to pause and still look around the level to formulate a plan. I kind of gave up after ten levels or so, but it was definitely worth the price for the half an hour of enjoyment I got out of it, and I'll probably go back to it again when I want to feel frustrated again at my inability to quickly think things through.

Oh my, what a terribly lazy game. It's one thing that it's a cheap Lemmings knock-off, but the amount of corners cut in this game is simply staggering. Take a look at the animation of an ant digging, for instance. Ew. And, not too surprisingly, the levels a pretty bad as well. Really not recommended...
