Solenars Edge Heroes

Solenars Edge Heroes is a game where your aim is to rise through the ranks of the Arena in order to become Alcornagia's greatest Hero in Solenars Edge Heroes. Upon starting the game you area presented with a menu where you can choose between 1 of 3 playable characters, once you have chosen your desired character you are then presented with the option to choose a class for your character there is arround 44 different character classes to select and each come with various perks to them. For my first playthrough I chose Angeko and chose the Assassin Class. The character selection menu is very clean and easy to navigate without much difficulty at all. Once you have selected your character you are then able to choose a companion to fight along side you, each companion uses different weapons and attack styles and also has a different role such as a healer or a tank. An RPG Maker game that is anything but average, aiming to please all fans of the RPG Genre, but being a special treat to fans of the classic JRPG. I highly reccomend this game! Tons of battles to fight, multiple character races, many classes to choose, and a HUGE selection of heroes to hire into your party. What's even more, is that, as of May 23rd, 2018, the devolpers have added more content into the game through an update! This is one of the few games on Steam I have purchased at full price, and is, in my opinion, very much worth it. Thank you Team Syukino! I'll definitely be checking out Solenars Edge Rebirth. P.S. : I'd love to see more content added to this game in the future!

Solenars Edge Heroes is the arena mode from Solenars Edge Rebirth stretched out into a full game, which makes it a bit more interesting because you start from scratch and thus the low-level arena fights are actually appropriate, but the stretching out with over 60 characters mostly lets you assemble a team of the hardest-hitting characters and kill everything in one round, making it somehow even more boring than the arena mode was in the base game. The earlier complaints I had about Solenars Edge mostly apply, but even harder - ten characters instead of eight, and basic attacks that hit 16 or more times, rendering most skills useless, except now almost everyone in your party will have that level of attack, still a bunch of minigames that are entirely pointless... well, the giant, poorly-drawn maps are less of an issue, as most of this game happens on a single map.
