YOMOTSU is a great, short RPG Game that actually takes a bit of thinking and planning to get past the numerous bosses, but can be affected by dreaded lag input.
https://youtu.be/w3G_tNpVIEo https://youtu.be/rHBnbTy003U YOMOTSU is, well, linear. Incredibly so. But that's kind of the point: you're on a train headed to HELL. You wake up from a nice nap to find a creepy kid looking at you, and eventually befriend a zombie named Mark and have business dealings with a mimic named Chester. Seriously. The point of the game is to reach the main car to find the Machinist to convince him to stop the train and let you off, thus sparing you from having to watch reruns of House Hunters for all eternity. There is a lot to love about this game. I mean, people before me already did: it was the IGMC 2017 Grand Prize Winner, so you KNOW there's some good stuff here. While it really IS linear, there are secrets and little easter eggs to find if you go back to cars you've already visit...

User Reviews
This is one of those games you stumble upon and are like "What the hell?" XD I'll give it a a go. This is a pretty decent, simplistic ( in a good way ) game. You are basically on a train ride to oblivion and move from left to right fighting monsters in rpg fashion. Not finished yet... B++

This was a fun game. I really enjoyed it. Even though the battles were difficult, they made me think about how to win and that to me is great to see in a game. I don't like just grinding to win and this game shows that even if you have good equipment, that you still need to plan before each battle. The story is really cool and the gameplay does something different and I loved it. The visuals and the music are great. My only real problem with the game isn't even something that I can really complain about considering that the game was made in a month. It is that that the game had some really bad slowdown. I highly recommend this game.
The instructions are vague and bosses are all but impossible right from the start. I do not understand all of the thumbs up. I really wanted to like this game but the main character starts out with little defense and hp for the bosses they need to fight. I was able to make it to the 3rd boss and from there hit a wall. The tools given or found/won is not enough. I love the concept and I do love a challange but need some kind of turtorial to make it less frusterating as well as the tools for a balanced fight.
