About This Game

"9 Balls" is a miniature game of billiards. The control is made by the mouse vutton and the spacebar. Use the mouse to aim and change the force of the impact and the spacebar to strike the cue on the ball.

9 balls (briefly)
In the "Nine" you play with a nine sighted balls, numbered from the first to the ninth, and jam. Balls should be played in order, from a smaller number to a larger one. The player who scored the ninth ball with the right blow, wins the game.

8 balls (briefly)
When playing the "Eight" use a cue ball and 15 sighted balls, numbered from 1 to 15. Before the player makes a hit on the ball number 8, all seven balls of his group (solid - with numbers from 1 to 7 or striped - from 9 to 15 ) must leave the table. The blows are made to order.

An all around poor showing. This game is shovelware. This game embraces laziness with an unbreakable vice-like grip. PROS: - Graphics are simple. - Game doesn't crash. - The music is alright. CONS: - Imagine a compass. Physics dictates that a cueball (moving north) can only cause the target ball (the 7-ball, for instance) to move north, east, west, or some combination thereof. The target ball CANNOT move south -- passing backward through the cue ball toward the player. This game makes an exception. - The balls grind to a halt on impact; the very concept of friction ceases to exist within the bounds of this game. - Moving the cue stick is absolutely agonizing to the point of enducing rage. If you play this game for more than 10 minutes, there will be murders in your home. - Messages from the game appear in a whispy battleship blue font color against green felt -- making them neigh unreadable. - There is an option under "Options" that has no label; your choices are "none", "human...

9 Balls is an extremely poorly made mobile app-like 2D "billiards" simulator... and I'm really at a loss as to whether this is an asset flip or just completely bad. It certainly has all the qualities of an asset flip. If it is an asset flip, it's a terrible asset. The physics in the game are just broken... balls will hit the rails or other balls and just stop completely unnaturally. This truly is garbage. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so f...

I bought it, because it was very cheap and i wanted some other games, than only the big ones like Train Simulator and so on... :-D The most thing i like is the music... The controls are very slow, even when i play with mouse support i often must move the mouse to move the "Queue" only a little bit. So dont use on Laptops with Touchpads ;-) If i start the game and have full power on the Queue, the balls only move very slow... Nothing compared to the real Billards. So i think, try it... But i wont buy it again... Or i would buy it, but only for the Music :-D
