About the Game

Get ready for the ride of your life in this wild and wacky racing extravaganza!

Select an adrenaline fuelled racer, pick out some fetching safety headgear and choose a ‘vehicle’, which in the world of Tony Slopes™ could be anything from an office chair to a great white shark!

Battle hard and work your way up through the ranks to unlock all 9 (in Early Access) scenic yet treacherous landscapes spanning across 4 different environment types including snow, desert, jungle and volcanic.

Start your engines, put your pedal to the metal (or whatever your “vehicle’s” equivalent is) and get ready to use your WASTED ENERGY™ boost, when the time is right!

Be sure to keep an eye on your opponent’s health wheel during the race and look for signs of weakness. A little shove in the right direction will give you an opportunity to introduce them to the dirt!...Be warned however, it is likely they will want to return the favour!

There are also a number of untrained volunteer security guards pacing the track who are there for your safety! Keep your eyes peeled and do not run over the guards! Oh...and an additional reminder at this point...DO NOT run over the guards!

Get into the groove with a selection of upbeat tunes including drum and bass, metal, rock and electro unless of course you just fancy some quiet time racing along to the raw ambient soundtrack of nature.

Progress your way through the various levels to unlock all the achievements, earn your legendary status and become the Ultimate Tony Slopes™ Champion!

If however you want to avoid all the challenges and jump straight into the toy box, head over to multiplayer mode and either host your own race or join in on a session.

Tony Slopes™ Early Access

Designed and created in the Unreal Engine by a small family-run design team in Malvern, Worcestershire UK, SEEDTECH Studios are in the process of building a strong foundation for the Tony Slopes™ racing title. There are no limits to where the game can go from this point and the Early Access version is just the beginning!

By creating a platform that gives the developers an opportunity for their imaginations to run wild in terms of character creation, map design and pretty much anything you can imagine as a vehicle, it opens the doors to an endless world of possibilities!

However it is not just the developers who will have all the fun, the community will also play a major role in the process! It will be your feedback, suggestions and ideas that will ultimately shape the game!

So here you are, you're in one of the least catered-to demographics in the modern gaming industry: arcade racing fans. Surely, you think, there must be a good recently-released arcade racing game in this world? There might be, but this isn't one of them. When I purchased Tony Slopes, it was based on a Steam review that claimed the game was like Motorstorm - a legendary arcade racing franchise from my childhood. I'm not going to tell you why this game isn’t like Motorstorm, because the mistakes it makes are at such a fundamental level it does not matter. The first thing you will notice when you boot the game up and enter a race is the absolutely terrible progression system. When you start, you can access only one track, one vehicle, and one driver. The AI are only allowed to use vehicles and drivers that you've unlocked. At first, every race you play will have a grid exclusively populated with identical dudes riding the same identical inflatable donuts. To unlock new conte...

Despite the fact we're still in the Early Access, my kids and I are already completely hooked!!! Tony Slopes reminds me a lot of the MotorStorm franchise back in the day. The graphics and tracks I've played so far are awesome, well designed and varied. I thought the gameplay was spot on too and there is definitely a steady (and sometimes steep) learning curve that is all the more rewarding when you finally succeed. On top of this, Tony Slopes brings a seriously bizarre array of characters, vehicles, and accessories to the mix. Overall, its a huge amount of fun, definitely one for parties and it returns us to the good old days of what makes racing games great. I'm convinced as soon as the YouTube generation get hold of this, Tony Slopes is going to explode!

I've had this on my wishlist for a long time and decided to give it a go. I really wanted to like Tony Slopes but it's just not fun as a racing game, at least for now. The main selling point of this is the wacky races, characters, and vehicles, but ironically it restricts everything to a grindy system that just isn't fun. You start off with one character and one vehicle. All the AI in solo mode mirror what you've unlocked, so you're literally racing with clones. So immediately, a game that's supposed to be silly and awesome looks dull. You get one map to start. It has a couple of jumps, some interesting visuals going on in the background but the track itself is unexciting, both visually and to drive. During my play time I didn't experience any power ups, weapons, any variation in possible strategy. Now, there is a boost feature and you get energy by knocking down people walking on the track, which leans into the sense of humour this game is supposed to have. But for some reason it...

So very pleased to see Tony Slopes released! This game is an absolute one off gem. The tracks are beautifully designed and really well thought out - there is always something to look at / crash into! The characters and vehicles are brilliant and add so much fun to the overall experience which really makes it stand out from other racers. Tony Slopes is also super playable, it genuinely challenges you to become a better racer. It's not too easy or too difficult, i found myself challenged but not frustrated - i just wanted to keep playing to unlock the maps and achievements - this game is a lot of fun! Massive congratulations to all involved!

EARLY ACCESS REVIEW: A couple of minor game breaking bugs but overall a good experience. I decided to give this game a go purely on my Steam Deck. Initially the game ran well, until about the 5th level, where the game dropped into the teens on framerate making it virtually unplayable. Altering the graphical fidelity in the main menu fixed these issues and I finished the game with no other complaints. There were two bugs for me, one of which resulted in the game crashing back to desktop, the other allowed me to gain a headstart. The latter wasn't really needed on the standard difficulty. The maps/tracks all seem really well designed and clearly seemed to have been where the most effort was placed, this pays off as they all seem pretty unique from one another and fun to race on. There is a good selection of vehicles on offer here, but they all felt like they were purely cosmetic and if there were a difference between them then I didn't notice it. I'd say the game still needs more ...
