Yakuza Kiwami was what I expected after finished 0. It really feels similar to Yakuza 0. The story was shorter but the continuation was perfect!!! There were more varieties in heat actions, with the new skill tree being fun to unlock too. The substories never fail to be stupid yet so much fun. There was never a dull moment in Kamurocho, every street had some business or thugs to tend to. Can't believe I'm only on the 2nd installation of the series...onto the next I go.

this guy looks pretty serious idk if I would fibght him so the enemies are really brave
Absolute game , even when i finished this game i wanna back to play it more and more , over and over again , just walking on the map make you feel in japan , even when majima shows up makes you fight the best fight of your life , and even the substory makes you feel like your real life, Every npc has his own story and every strange, good or bad event that happens makes you engaged with the npcs. I remember when i saw npc named fighter in yakuza 0 and i saw him again in kiwami. he make me cry when i saw him getted old, In short. yakuza kiwami is the best game in ever and i'm gonna play this game again to beat majima over and over again. and can't forget the combos and the Switch style. it's better then yakuza 0 because in yakuza 0 the switching is slow and you can't switch when you fight you have to stop and switch and this is sucks. thank to yakuza kiwami to fix this problem and make the combos better then normal. and you can not say Absolute game without talking about dragon style. oh...
⚔️ Yakuza Kiwami - A Yakuza's Return
What I Played: I dove into the world of Kiryu Kazuma, getting entangled in the dramatic yakuza underworld while exploring the bustling city streets of Kamurocho. The Good:

Seamless follow-up – Coming from Yakuza 0, this felt like a natural progression, maintaining that same addictive mix of story and gameplay.
Engaging narrative – The story had me hooked from the get-go, with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat.
The Bad:

Some repetitive missions – While the side content is vibrant, a few missions felt a bit too similar, breaking the flow at times.
Character models showing age – Despite the remaster, character models occasionally felt outdated, taking away from the polished experience.
Verdict: Recommended - If you're a fan of the Yakuza series, this is a must-play. It captures the essence of the franchise...
Good game and a good follow up to Yakuza 0. Playing 0 beforehand really makes you more emotionally attached to the characters in this game and adds some more context/emotion to their actions and motives. Gameplay is still pretty much the same (Tiger Drop negates all damage), music is good, minigames are fun (fuck billiards though), and completion isn't too bad. A shorter game compared to 0, but that is not a bad thing as the pacing is good. Do recommend if you enjoyed 0 - though I highly recommend playing 0 first.
7/10 This game is good, not as good as Yakuza 0 but good. Fun beat em up action game with hilarious side content and very serious story. This game is really charming and I definitely will continue the series with 2 next. The story is entertaining even in it's filler moments and the combat is fun. The minigames are fun and well thought out.
I loved playing 0, so I bought this one to continue with the series chronologically. Unfortunately, after playing it for a bit, I realized that it is essentially the same exact game as 0 but with a different plot, but with a less advanced fighting system and worse bosses as it is a remake of the first game. I know I should have not gotten my hopes up since it's the first game but compared to 0, I couldn't pull myself to keep playing this game. It feels like I'm playing a worse copy of 0 :/ In a vacuum, it's fine I guess...
Majima everywhere is top 10 things added in ANY videogame
Genuinely one of my favorite games of all time. The story is absolutely amazing and is filled with everything a typical Yakuza game has. The fighting is great, and all the substories are about as cooky as one would expect from the Yakuza series. I can not express how much I love this game.
wish it had more majima randomly popping on my screen with 8 full health bars stopping whatever quest i was going to do
