Run along a narrow path through a nondescript wasteland, use your weapons with no sights, recoil, hit feedback or ammo limits to hose down the enemies that spawn 20 meters in front of you out of thin air and fling bullets at you that have zero hit feedback either. Repeat until map 3 tanks the framerate to single digits for some reason.

About This Game
The Great War has changed everything. Our dimensions were crushed; our world was shattered... But we have survived...
The world was nearly destroyed by machines from parallel dimension 3000 years ago in a great battle which the ancients called The Rift War. Now what left of mankind lives underground and only with the genes of our commanding Lord Fathers can reach the surface and fight to reclaim our land... They call these people; Strangers.
The Stranger is an Epic Games Megagrants awarded, very intense VR combat game made by 3 people that sets in an incredibly detailed exotic world. You are the Stranger of your generation. You are alone in a hostile world. All you have are your weapons, your protective suit and your courage.

I recommend this game and the price is more than reasonable. Fun game...played for 45 minutes and got to the next level. No glitches and no controller issues...ran smooth with no motion sickness. Using Vive pro wireless. Game play is smooth and flows well. Graphics are ok...slightly blurry in some areas. Game reminds me of Serious Sam or Doom. For a new release, I think the dev team of three people did a great job...over time I have no doubt that this will be fine tuned and expanded.
Couldn't wait more to write my review. The game is flowing. It's just easy as that. Flowing. Yes there are nearly no interactions or physics based puzzles but this is something like Serious Sam or Doom. You just fight non stop in very, very beautiful environments. The music also pumps up adrenaline to my veins. I played it on Epic and I really don't know how to describe my feelings about the graphics. According to the discussion board, 3 people made this game. Really amazing. Pros - Good graphics - Very fun - Very easy to play - Very satisfying weapons and gore Cons - Maybe in future patches or DLCs, more interactivity with the environment Keep up the good work!
Fun, simple and fast. When I cycle through videos I found, nearly no one used the blade. The wrist blade is incredible. I love it. First I launch rockets or shoot with my red Energy Gun. Then I teleport to nearest enemies and kill them with my blade. So much fun! This will be a day routine for me probably. A 30 / 45 min for action everyday.

I had high hopes for this game based on the footage on the store page. And then I played it. Red flags are going off in my head as a badly compressed intro video begins to play in a monitor stapled to head kind of way instead of the scene playing around you, but judging by whatever engine is running this that probably was out of the question. One of the first things I notice once I'm dropped into the world is that it can't seem to know what to render at any given time, textures pop in and out as they pleased. Then I fire the laser gun. There's no animation when it fires. Just a few LED's light up on it, making it look and feel like a cheap toy. The other guns aren't much better, the wrist blade has no impact, but how could they when the enemies simply woosh into existence, and seem to only fire at my feet for some reason. One of the larger enemies had no eye's, not that they were removed in some sick ritual or sewn shut, but rather there was no model there, I can see right thru his hea...
Spent my entire night on this. Very fun and captivating. Giggled like a child every time I launched 5 rockets to a poor dude. Too bad there is not much of a story to follow. It would have been great with these visuals and gameplay. Here is my list: Pros: Fun gameplay Great visuals Dismemberment. Yeah. Try rockets or flak and see. Spent hours blowing people up:P Easy controls Great price Cons: Lack of story Nothing to interact with. No physics. I could bash enemies with my gun but that's it. Kind of a little repetitive after some time
I am awesome and the game's awesome. Pretty much what is written in the description. Intense battles. It's a non stop run / kill / run game. Especially big fond of good old flak cannon. Not much of a story but the background lore is ok. Environments are awesome too and wish there were some lore bits around to learn more about the story. But overall the gameplay is very fast and entertaining. Pros: graphics / gameplay / music / controls Cons: lack of story / AI could be better
Combine the moods and environments of Dune, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones into one and add Serious Sam enemies with Doom weapons. Then make carnage. This is what I can describe about this game. Hope this turns into a franchise or smth.
All in all, this is what I want for a good entertainment. For its price it's full of enjoyment. Loved the graphics, loved the gameplay and loved the very, very easy controls. It would be much better in my opinion if there was a co-op mode. This is not perfect of course. There are some feedback issues, game balance issues and such but devs frequently updates it.
