This is a interesting bullethell, the teleportation mechanic works well and the sheer bizzareness is worth a look

If you're into weird Japanese / Asian-ish Bullet Hell games ELDR LEGACY provides a half an hour of fun. The game is not very challenging in the grand scheme of SHMUP / Bullet Hell games and has little to no replay value, but I did find myself chugging through its brisk 20-30 minutes of gameplay and enjoying what it had to offer. The game itself degenerates a bit into "mashing the teleport / dodge button as you race up the screen" (the game is a vertical scrolling SHMUP) to progress to the next section of the level, but I still enjoyed it for what it offered. There isn't a whole lot to say about this game. There are a variety of random pickups to be had, one set of which affect the pattern of your firing / shooting and the other providing effects such as mini tornadoes that spawn out of your ... creature? tank? aircraft? Just what exactly ARE you on this game? (It looks like a creepy Thomas the Tank Engine...) -anyway, the other pickups are AOE type effects that last for a limited tim...
I cant tell if its a master piece or translation changed the game into a janky lore heavy scizo post either way i really liked it, its good 30 min play with an insane story. A bullet hell where the only punishment for death is the loss of your weapons and power ups makes it a fairly simple and quick to play and may even be a good starting bullet hell for those who may not like the perma death nature that bullet hells often have. Eh. it wasn't really that great, and very amateur, but the dev did put a little bit of their own spin on over-the-top bullet hell games. Even though the graphics were pretty glitchy they were actually pretty creative, especially casting Magic which randomly shoots 1 of 8 insanely powerful spells. I got 30 minutes out of it. Not going to play it again. I'm saying thumbs up because it was an interesting diversion. Not a "good" game and really not worth the $1.42 I paid for it. But I guess it was good enough to not refund.
