Unless you really want to see the animated endings or get the linear bounded phenogram included with this game, it's not worth it. Just stick with the original vn and be happy, it's much better.

I watched the anime a few years ago, and it cut out a lot from the original visual novel. This version is still a bit trimmed compared to the full VN, but it's definitely better than the anime. Some scenes that were never shown in the anime do appear here. I've learned a lot more from this than I ever did by just watching the show. If Steins;Gate 0 Elite ever goes on sale, I'd probably buy it. (I really enjoyed reading 700+ threads of @channel chaos xD)

Just a souped down version of the OG, nothing wrong with it, but there is virtually nothing different from the anime. So if you've never played or watched the anime then yeah you can play it but remember it cuts off a lot of lines from the original VN. If you watched the anime there is 0 reason to play this version just go play the original VN
