Craft furniture, place decorations, and add some color to your base. You can also fortify it to keep it secure and light it up in the night. Make certain to keep alert for enemies looking for many ways to expel you from their territory or stand against them in a deadly Flamekeeper Challenge.

CHILL WITH ANIMALS & USE ALL THE JUNGLE WONDERS

Capybaras, tapirs, peccaries, armadillos, and anteaters are just some of the animals you can breed. And yes - of course you can pet them! The jungle is not only full of deadly predators but it’s also filled with cute pals which you can gain their trust by feeding and caring for them.

Use all the natural gifts the jungle can provide, like honey, bird feathers, and eggs - and yes of course - insects, to use them for your and the animal menagerie’s needs. Unleash your farming spirit and become one with the wilderness.

I genuinely tried to give it a chance after the initial disappointment. The gameplay feels clunky and unfinished, the difficulty is entirely due to requiring 2 tapirs of meat and 5 bananas plus 2 gallons of water a day, the damage system feels forced and like they refused to drop a bad idea just because it was original, and there's zero granularity in the settings. Let me elaborate for you. So the biggest issue I have is with the damage system. At first it's appealing. You can take damage on any of your 4 limbs and when you take that damage (indicated by a magnifying glass) you go into an inspection screen and manually search for the wounds. You then apply the appropriate treatment. At first I assumed I would get used to it, and it's just a learning curve, but that's not the case. You are CONSTANTLY pulling leaches off your body. No, they are not linked to water sources. You have a random chance at any given point of getting leaches. Okay so turn them off before you start your game. W...

Green Hell is a fun and difficult game of survival. The story is also well done. I found using a guide to understand the game to save me hours of trial and error, to include the best way to avoid injury from the more dangerous predators in the game. The graphics and voice acting are well done. The mechanics can be tedious, mitigated by recognition of gatherable resources. The best advice I read, do not get hurt and it is far easier to keep the flow. Treat wounds quickly and correctly and it is easier to get back to that flow. In all, Green Hell is for those that want a good story and/or a hardcore survival game experience. This game is an easy recommend.

Been awesome game ever since it came. However, i am very sad that they abandoned this game. This game could been so much better... for example add new map(s), new animals such as monkeys. Maybe new enemies even? New items? ALOT stuff, they could kept adding. But they decided to abandon this game... which is very sad. But the game is still awesome. Its one of the best survival games out there. And i do recommend it. You can still have hundreds of hours of fun in this game. Its very detailed and beautiful. Scary and cool too!

I like this game. IF you are into survival stuff this is a good one. I would suggest, despite the game advising otherwise, to start with Spirits of Amazonia, the main game is going to make a lot more sense and i think it ll be a better experience.

Absolutely one of my wife and I's favorite open world survival crafting games. We've played it on every mode numerous times. Great replayability.

For people who love The Forest it is a great game but for everyone else - just play forest. Green hell has a lot more mechanics than the forest but many of them fell unnecessary or annoying. For example the stamina drains so quickly and because of this you will just fall on the ground and go to sleep. Another mechanic are the whole mud builds - they just seem completely unnecessary. These are just two of many things that i dont like about this game. For me playing the game wasnt enjoyable.
