No point buying this as the developers have decided to release the sequal (finished Game) added a 2 to it and are selling it for twice the price on Viveport, so if you want the complete finished game this is not it and by the programmers actions I am guessing this will now not ever come out of Beta. On the flip side its fun and half the price of the full release, just a pity they did not honour their beta buyers with the completed game

Gameplay Video https://youtu.be/dQnwpd-TzKE So much better than I thought it was going to be, has slide and teleport. The combat seems good for VR and you work up a real sweat. Bought when it was on sale so got a real bargain, love it when VR games surprise you. Played on a OG Vive @ SS 2 with tpcast, 6600k @ 4.3, 16gb Ram and a GTX 1080 and seemed to run fine for me.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
This was my best purchase of the Steam Summer Sale. I got this game for $1.19 USD, 90% off before they decreased the discount. I must admit, I think this game is definitely worth full retail price, but still who doesn't love a steal bargain and that makes playing the game all that much sweeter :) The graphics in this game are absolutely gorgeous. The game ran smoothly for the most part, although at times, especially with lots of enemies on screen, it did seem to stutter just a bit. There is full locomotion with snap turning or you can teleport (but not pick the direction you are facing). The snap turn is kind of slow though. You do move at a brisk pace but there are some pathing issues so I found I had to teleport at times. There's lots of weapons available, but you don't really get to choose your weapons, at least not at the start. You're stuck with these dual daggers. They are not bad, but throwing them does take so...
Just doesn't work with Oculus. For some reason everything you hold in your left hand is pointing down at 90 degrees from where it should be, so you have to hold your left hand at a painfully awkward angle to use anything. So the shield points flat face to the floor, as does the bow. Makes it impossible to play. I can find no way of switching the weapons. If it got fixed it would be a nice looking game, but as it is it is unplayable for me.
I wanted to like this game, it looks fun and maybe I'm just weird. I played it for all of about ten minutes before the frame rate killed me, when in combat the lag was just...unreal (I have a gtx 1080 and an I7-7770K). I enjoyed the ability to throw my daggers, but I picked out the bow and I was having a horrible time because the hands are up higher than in normal VR games, meaning when I was trying to pull back on the bow, my hand wasn't actually at the bow, it was above the bow. I would phase right next to attack them and the game would just auto attack them for me, so that wasn't much fun either. I couldn't find a way to change the dominant hand to left either, though maybe that's because I didn't look enough. Overall with a few tweaks and updates, it'd attract a guy like me, but right now in this state, I don't like it and I wouldn't recommend it.
I wanted to like the game. Love the story, graphic is good. However, somehow the game does not support WMR. It show 2 image in 2 eyes, instead of a 3D object. I have to play the first part closing 1 eye. It make the motion worse. I got serious Motion sickness after playing the game. Did refund (hence thump down). However I follow and keep the game on my wish list, if the 2nd version of the game supports WMR better, I will defintely buy.
Pretty good, reminds me of dynasty warrior in VR.
PRO - ~ Looks nice for screenshots. ~ Nice concept story if they had continued with idea. CONS - ~ A lot of bugs ~ Not even a finished product. ~ Has been abandoned by Devs. Who then made a new company and released the same game with a 2 at the end to try and escape the negative reviews and grab some more cash. https://store.steampowered.com/app/944740/?snr=1_5_9__205 ~ One guy does all male voices (nice try but NO.) ~ Everyone is a Bro.
got stuck in the first level... This is definitely an early generation game that does a lot to show what VR is capable of, but is not in the top tier.
Very intense! There are a variety of weapons, mostly melee but with throwables and bows too. In addition, the weapons have special abilities such as sending a wave of fire or an exploding throwing knife. You can change the weapons quickly with the trackpad to change playstyle. There are some RPG elements included such as levels, attributes, money to buy weapons and so on. It looks like Dynasty Warriors, but it plays nothing like it. You may take on a few enemies at once, but you won't be smashing a thousand or so per level out of your way like nothing.
