Experienced on Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Yet another wave shooter. This one is a little different because it feels like a gun / melee obstacle course. Each wave has several levels which get progressively harder. If you fail, you restart at that same level instead of restarting from the start of the wave. Each wave brings a new twist. You have new weapons to try out. You have obstacles coming at you to get out of the way of. You have barriers that you have to get behind cover as some enemies fire at you. You quickly die if any enemy touches you or after a few shots from some shooting enemies. Weapons include pistols, SMGs, shotguns, light saber and shield. The talking drone guide repeated phrases often. But it was only a little annoying, I remember one funny line though. I found the guns to feel good and accurate. Each of them felt different. The weird part was having to drop a weapon to start the next wave. Just an odd mechanic to use IMO. I had some fun. I fe...

About This Game
Report for duty to defend mankind against the machines! The Quickshot Program will prepare you for battle and the somewhat ill-tempered training AI Dash will make sure you don’t cut corners on the way. This training simulation has you take out waves of projectiles in quick succession. Open fire with pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, laser and minigun or wield a weapon from more civilized days.
“Have you ever considered that everything around you might just be a simulation?” (*)
Some target projectiles disappear after one hit, some are more heavily armoured, some will even shoot back at you and some are not to be harmed at all. Learn the projectiles’ patterns or master the increasingly harder and faster challenges with nothing but your reflexes and experience the Quickshot slow motion effect as you pulverize the waves of targets coming at you. Apart from a quick trigger finger, you should be light on your feet. Dash will launch barriers at you that you’ll have to dodge and when taking fire, your only chance is to dive for cover or get your shield up. And who knows: Maybe there will even be some cake in the end (**).
(*) DASH, AI of the Quickshot program
(**) ...there will be no cake, sorry

User Reviews
6/10 A reasonably fun game that gets stale pretty quickly. Good for introducing a shooting game to the kids without any violence. Overall though, there is not much to hold your interest for long.
