Alright, a lot to cover here for the 0 people who’ll see this because it got removed from Steam. 1. The game is good even if people are complaining it’s broken and I couldn’t play it to the fullest extent because I have a WMR not a vive. 2. Mundfisk is a good developer from what I’ve seen but the whole thing around this game is just… sketchy. 3. They didn’t give much warning about the promo, also the promo they linked led to a possibly malicious website which steam Auto-blocked. Listen, Mundfisk; I love the idea of Atomic heart. As soon as I found out about Soviet Lunarpark I brought it without any questions asked. I didn’t refund it when I realized I couldn’t use several abilities due to my headset choice because I know that money would be used to fund you guys, but to stop development of this game, fucking over the people who’ve paid for it? I won’t be the first to say it was probably an accident; there is no way to notify a game’s owner about something, but gi...
Reviewed using HTC Vive Pro
🎵 I'm Back in the U.S.S.R. Boys 🎵 In a futuristic fantastic Soviet Horror 🧟 Wave Shooter that's Super Fun & Challenging 🤪 Co-op ✔️ Graphics look great in Slow-Mo or Fast Action ✔️ Sounds are good enviroment and weapons ✔️ I love the 4 Character Classes with simple guns ✔️ Awesome you have small to large play arena's https://youtu.be/yea8xUwEjiY
The visuals are interesting but lack of many option to improve image quality. As it is now, the option let you choose between Low, Normal and High quality and that's it. Regarding the game, you choose one hero among 4 in total. Each hero have their own weapons and ability. The map looks open and wild. Unfortunately, you are stuck in a little roomscale with invisible wall. I don't understand this choice. The game let you move around with Teleportation or Free locomotion, but you are stuck. The difficulty is very hard near impossible if you play solo. The mobs are moving very fast and since you can't really move to evade them, you die miserably. If the game will stay as it is now. I don't recommend it.
Update: Abandoned and shutdown.
So far its pretty hard to find people in a game, and there is a lot of bugs. You cant go above "Low" graphics or the game gets stuttery (Coming from a 1080ti). The game has a lot of potential, When it does work its a lot of fun, but as of right now I cant reccomend it.
I cant even play the game, when i press play my vr headset just goes completely black and nothing happens. The tutorial also goes black screen at the end and whenever i try goto settings i cant even select any of the options it just doesn't allow me to click anything???
Abandoned game starting March 1st. Up yours too Mundfish.
6600K oc'ed 4.3 16 GB ram GTX 1080 OG Vive tpcast Wearing my mum's underwear. In Russia single player is for you to die. Gameplay Video: https://youtu.be/u8OoZd6UCZY It's a Zombie wave shooter atm with 4 different maps and the single player option is extremely difficult. The graphics are awesome but needs more graphics options as my 1080 was working overtime to keep up. SP & MP co-op with 4 character classes and 4 limited maps atm, story mode TBR. Teleport and touchpad movement. It has the feeling of being a tester for when the story mode is released as every map is more of a part of a story than a wave shooter map. You have to fix or work something out like being in Metro 2033 but just playing the main story parts without all the traveling in between. If when story modes released it's more open world where you travel between these main story parts would be awesome like Arizona Sunshine. But if it's just a series of maps linked by clearing the area not so awesome and just anoth...
You can't even rotate the camera, lot of visual bugs, it's a common wave shooter and need balance for singleplayer mode . Really sad cause the art style is really good
Supersampling and/or AA doesn't seem to be working/implemented, points popups whevever you kill a target are huge and obscure your vision preventing you from aiming at targets behind them, your in-game hands are also huge and not lined up with your IRL hands, bullets seem to pass right through targets if they're extremely close to you, and all this from just playing for like five minutes.
