The game has no story other than the video and the text wall under 'About This Game' on the store page. In-game has no text, no dialogue, no UI and no settings. On launching the game you are met with two options - Play or Quit. WASD are your movement keys, shift allows you to sprint, left mouse button swings the sword. There is nothing more to the game. All monsters can be walked by, you don't even need to sprint. Killing them gives no experience, as there is no experience system, there is no experience system as there is no skill system. Killing monsters gives no loot. Occasionally one will drop a health globe. Every level of the dungeon that I saw was the same tileset repeated. After around 10 minutes of running past zombies, to the same music track on loop, I reached a boss. The boss hit like a truck and has beefy HP which your sword merely chips at. With no dodge mechanic the only way to fight is to swing, step away, repeat. I was too slow once or twice and he killed me. The g...

The game is not very polished and seems to be just put in after getting the first mechanics finished, the only actions are walk, run, and swing, you can just spam LMB and it will stun normal enemies until they die, the larger enemies don't get stunned but still is easy to attack and back up. Besides attacking monsters that only drop health and can't even hit you if you walk passed them, all you can do is try to find the exit to the current level. After killing what I assume is the final boss It always falls on top of me making it impossible to move, so I can't really progress to see if there's any more content. As the game stands I can't recommend, but I hope to see updates in the future, it could be a really fun hack and slash.

ORION is a somewhat incomplete/abandoned 3D rendered brawler/slasher game that kind of looks like it might be some Diablo-esque game, but it's not. This looks more to me like a Digital Homicide style asset flip, with some stock dungeon assets and a stock brawler template slapped together lazily and dumped on Steam... to the point I think more real work went into the preamble and Steam store page than the game itself. Playing the game is incredibly disappointed... fight waves of the same couple of zombie assets with your one attack and your health bar. There's bosses, but nobody cares. Despite not being in Steam Early Access (where this arguably belongs), the game is missing features and is apparently incomplete. Due to the lack of meaningful progress from the developer, it's unlikely the game will be completed at all, yet the developers reprehensively have their hand out for money for an incomplete game. This is a good reason for gamers to avoid this. From a technical perspectiv...

This game is like everything you've seen before, starting out with no story line, the intro screen is just play and quit. And click to attack which is so bad noone even uses that way of combat anymore other than dota. You know you're in for a ride of why you spent half a $ on a game like this, with graphics being the most basic and terrible thing you can see in your life. Then the grammar issues when you die is "You're died" This game is so cheaply made, that a toddler could make better.

This game is like no other. With the lack of any story, gameplay, or enjoyable elements what so ever, it forces the player to create their own story. At first this frustrated me, but then I realised, this was a reflection of myself. The game forced me to come to terms with the fact that my Dad will never love me, but what it did make me realise is that life lacks any point, and you have to make your own purpose in life. What this game lacks in gameplay, enjoyement, variety, decent music, varied enemies, it makes up for it with challenging boss fights that not only challenge your skill, but also your will to live. If we all went through life with no opposition or hardships, what would we become? Hopeless, and lost. I have this game to thank for a good time, because the rest of my day certainly got better after refunding this piece of shit.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4 out of 5 stars) Review: "Orion" is a captivating dungeon crawling game that delves into the haunting realm of the undead, immersing players in a world teeming with both peril and captivating lore. From the moment you step into the game, you're greeted by a dark and foreboding atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable journey. The lore of "Orion" is undeniably one of its greatest strengths. It weaves a complex and intricate narrative, unveiling the origins and motivations of the zombie infestation that has consumed the land. The attention to detail in the lore is commendable, as it offers a deep exploration of the history, mythology, and characters that shape the game world. Each discovery and revelation adds a layer of depth to the experience, making every step forward feel rewarding and meaningful. The gameplay mechanics in "Orion" are solid, combining the strategic elements of dungeon crawling with intense combat encounters. As you navigate thr...
Games can be a lot of things.
They can be offensive and bloody (like the Postal franchise) or cutesy and nostalgic (like most Nintendo games). They can have easy Gameplay (like FMV games) or can be a hard and difficult challenge for everyone's Gamer skills (like the Dark Souls titles). They can be super funny (like Darkside Detective 1 and 2) or incredibly sad (like The Last of Us 1 and 2). Full of story (like Life is Strange), full of lore (like Five Nights at Freddy's) or full of collectibles (like Banjo Kazooie or Donkey Kong 64). The sexiest thing you've ever seen or as family friendly as they come. They can touch your soul or haunt your nightmares. BUT THE ONE THING THEY CAN AND SHOULD NOT BE IS BORING! Games should be FUN (or at least Art. Same goes for movies btw, like "Empire State" from Andy Warhol, 4 hours of shots of one skyscraper!). THIS game is
NOTHING
! That's why my review is as long as it now ended up to be, there is no adjective...

For the price, its a surprisingly good game. I like to call myself an aficionado of bad games, and this is actually good. Good job game devs, this was decent.
