- It might be fun, but it can't be recommended. The game has only 1 chapter with 6 levels and by the end of it, what remains is the sensation of a unfinished game. I gave it some time, but we have a concerning statement from the dev about it's future: "Checked how many people have supported me ( bought ) and decided to put Area 86 on a side for now. If you ask why, the reason is simple. The player ( supporters ) amount did not reach my goal. [...] I will move a bit away from Area 86 and try to create something else. [...]" So there's that, the game will not be finished unless we collectively pay for it. I don't think its fair to leave the game lacking because the numbers were not as expected. Thinking of this game I will not be remembering the 1 hour that took me to complete its 6 stages, nor the following hours hunting for achievements or checking to see if it got updated, I will only remember that it was supposed to be more. - Not Recomended Now, to see this game moving the same ...

The action takes place in a secret space station where an AI has got corrupted, and you need to figure out how to stop it!

Maybe I am getting old but the controls are difficult to use ie throwing and worse than that there are no save points so if you get (exasperated) with the game and you want to shut it down you have to start the level again. Why can't developers remember save points or if they think it will make the game easy, give people the choice. Some people lead busy schedules.
Area 86 Is a Physics Puzzle Game, The game gives you task but it is up to you to become creative in ways to solve them, different people may solve different puzzles differently, which is something that adds a lot of charm to this. I had fun figuring out how to get through each challenge, Prepare your hardcore Parkour skills and get ready to robot. Only gripes are I didn't see a name for the robot so less of a connection here and only 6 levels right now, but chapter 2 is on the way this year so this will change the game. Overall Id Recommend it. +Controller Support + Cool kick back music + Intuitive Gameplay + Puzzle Solving that using logic, and you can be unique to how you solve it. +Fun +So much breakable stuff lol -Not much of a story nor a name for your robot. -While the 6 levels have a lot to do it seems a little short, however it looks likes the Dev is still working on chapter 2 which will have multiplayer and really expand this game. That all being said 10/10 Would bre...
An excellent and innovative game.
You can smash glass in this game- what else can you ask from the developer? The controls are a bit hard to get used to, but with some practices you'll get it. Bugs do exist, but the devs listen to bug reports on Discord and do make attempts to fix them.
This cute little game is very straightforward but excels in what it offers. The mechanics are simple, and the challenges are well thought out. The art style and music are unique and fun, but at the same time feel familiar and creates a mood that allows you to immerse yourself further in the challenges. It'll also challenge your fine motor skills for a lot of the tasks, although much of them are optional. Right now the game offers only 6 challenge rooms, but even with these few rooms (they get larger and harder), it'll offer you a lot of gameplay. Everything is timed too which gives replayability by challenging you to get a faster time. Some challenges in the game can also be treated like mini games (there's a basketball court!). I'd say if you're looking for a fun casual experience that offers much more depth if you wanna be more serious later, this is a great pickup for your Steam library.
Long time did not play games like Area 86 and must say. It has something that keeps me playing it! I had some visual glitches in the first versions, but now they are fixed! Recommend!
This stupid clumsy robot won't let me sleep... the game is so addictive :-) The robot controls kind of sluggish and shattered objects on the ground make things more wonky. But this was done in a way that makes the game challenging and not frustrating ... ok, I was lying, it is frustrating at times ... in a good way. The graphics are crisp and charming and I love the music, although there seems to be only one song. The developer is doing a great job at fixing bugs too :-)
it's very fun
I REALLY ENJOY THIS GAME !!! BGM is very suitable for the game Character control is perfect and runs very smooth Puzzles that make me think for more than 20 minutes are a worthy challenge The feeling after seeing the next stage door open is irreplaceable Sound effect for each material is really satisfying I can break almost all thing !!! ahahahahaha Game design is flawless Its a good game !
