User Reviews
It's a low effort port. Not enhanced at all- they didn't redo the textures or up the polygon count or anything. Of course the original was a good game so it would still be worth it IF IT WORKED AT ALL. Currently the game cant start unless you download a community patch from a github page. Even then you wont be able to play it because it wont recognize your controller, even if you have steam emulate it as a keyboard. The game is completely detached from any input method.
Good
super nostalgic, but also just a really fun game. No game since has quite captured the same sense of face-melting speed.
Played this as a kid, loved it. Now playing it older, I can say... I had good taste as a kid. It's short, but it's good.
This game on whatever platform it be has been my pallet cleanser for any game I have been feeling I was playing to long and need a break since I first played it on the N64 in 1999. Shame rainbow studios couldnt match the same excitement in their version on the ps2.
It's cars, in space!
