About This Game

A villa, a daily routine and an apparently happy family. Here is where everything began.

After "The Hospital" and "The Cathedral", "The Villa" is the last chapter of the Allison's Diary horror trilogy, where you will relive, through flashbacks and immersive cinematic effects, the frightening night in which Allison killed her parents in 1956.

With the help of your faithful flashlight and nothing more, prepare to face an infernal journey into the terrible truth.

Terrifying jump scares and a super realistic environment make "The Villa" one of the best virtual reality horror experiences.

The concluding episode of the trilogy. Although the total length of all three episodes only amounts to about 2 hours game play, with The Hospital and The Villa coming in at about 30 minutes each and The Cathedral at about 1 hour, I have found the series entertaining. Although the overall quality of the three locations is fairly low and the story line forgettable the combination of very slow movement, reliance on torchlight and a very effective sound track induces a real feeling of vulnerability in the player which when combined with the effective use of jump scares results in a truly scary experience. If that is what you are looking for then this is for you.

I like this and the first one best, because they are just like a straight up haunted house experience. No puzzles, no fighting, just explore and get scared. Sure, I love really challenging games with all that, but I'd really like some more, truly scary, haunted house style, walking sims. Affected : The Manor, The Bellows, The Haunted Graveyard, all kinda do it. But I'd really like something bigger, longer and scarier. When I want more of a challenge, Ghost Town Mine Ride & Shootin' Gallery, Paranormal Activity, Hordez and Arizona Sunshine are there for that.

I bought it for €1.67 so it's okay I'm satisfied. I had a few scares so at this price it's ok. On the other hand, never buy this game for 5 euros, it's not worth it. Je lai acheté 1,67 € donc ça va je suis satisfait. Je me suis fait quelques frayeurs donc à ce prix là c'est ok. Par contre n'achetez jamais ce jeu à 5 euros, il ne les vaut pas.

Nice little horror vr experience, playable on Oculus Quest 2. You get to explore the rooms in an old haunted building. Exploration is fairly linear and the experience is short, around 15 minutes or so. Graphics are good, the settings are immersive, and the game is capable of working in room-scale if you have enough space to walk around. I got a bundle of 3 of these games in a sale for ÂŁ3.00 if you don't mind a bit of vr horror then this is probably worth a look at.

Sadly I didn't know the order of the games so I started with this one first. Had some good jumpscares, the little flashbacks were nice to see. Graphics were pretty decent. The use of sounds/ music made it pretty suspensful. Don't think I've seen everything from the villa, or perhaps I am too traumatized to remember. Bought it as a package and was decent worth for its money.

So this one out of the three was for sure the best made and it did not make me feel motion sick, cause the Cathedral after an hour did. So there was an improvement in that area. Also, the graphics in this one were pretty good in my opinion. The atmosphere was really good. The scary factor was so so, some jump scares, but really what makes a VR horror game scary is not really the jump scares themselves, but the audio that builds up the atmosphere or sometimes lack of it and if well synchronised with the visuals, you can create some interesting horror experiences. I think also the animation of the 3D models is essential, they look too synthetic in movement, the developer needs to work in that area to make the models more natural. That bird in the beginning scared me the most of the lot, he appeared very real and good timing, that sort of thing is required. I recommend you buy this on sale to support the developer, so that they can make something even better, cause they have potential, bu...
