I saw a lot of bad reviews about this game specifically going after the fact that the mining takes a while. I feel like that is a poor reason to give this game a bad review since the trailer very clearly shows thats exactly what this game is like. I really liked the animations and i actually felt like the mining part of the game made it so every hazard had to be passed/beaten that much more carefully because of the long do overs. I felt like this game was definitely worth a dollar and that anyone reading this should buy it. (also make sure you have a controller)

This game has potential to appeal to people who like puzzles; however, the gameplay requires a lot more thought and development. It was a classic concept, but poorly executed. Graphics are well-done for the style the developers were going for, so kudos for that. The main issue is that the controls are sloppy and can't be changed - in fact, you can barely do anything to alter the interface. In addition to this, the gameplay is slow and relatively repetitive. Perhaps it improves further on in the game, but the controls were too uncomfortable to play for any longer than the time I did. With some adjustments, this might actually be quite enjoyable to play. Unfortunately, today is not that day.
