This is a small indie project from developers working on a new part of the HOMM-saga right now. The game proposes a turn-based RPG with tactical-mode battles 4x4. In the game, you are a resurrected necromancer whose path goes through a 6-level dungeon. Every floor involves fighting battles and visiting any interesting points (like tomb-chambers, sources of revival, etc.). Of course, the main brilliance of this game is its over-attractive antagonist, whom you will play. And if you start, be him! – First of all, construct your own undead army: take two parts of bones, one heart, some blood, give any armor or weapon to this lovely creature, and let it fight! The process is as routine as you can only imagine. Everyone does something like that, don't they? – add some beauty to your sweet, cozy home at the graveyard! Build a mortuary, abode of wrath, arrange an excavation, and enjoy! – Be a good leader! After killing any enemy, support your forces and say something like “Is this a re...

About the Game
In Iratus you find yourself fighting for the forces of darkness in the role of the titular necromancer—Iratus, recently freed from his millennia-long imprisonment.
You control an obedient army of the living dead, with skeletons, zombies, banshees and many other unliving warriors. Create your soldiers the only way a necromancer knows how: from the body parts of your slain enemies!
Expand and improve your underground lair. Strengthen your servants by researching secret rituals. Explore the twisted corridors and underground catacombs, and battle against lobotomized miners, greedy dwarves and corrupt mercenaries. Aid Iratus in his quest to recapture and eclipse his former power. Lead him to conquer the forces of good and unleash an eternal kingdom of death upon the world!
The sheer variety of tactical and strategic options makes Iratus a true treat for any ardent fans of the roguelike genre.

- Play on the side of evil, embodied by the necromancer Iratus!

- Expand and improve your underground lair.
- 19 types of obedient servants: zombies, vampires, skeletons, mummies, banshees and many more!

- Craft minions from the body parts of your conquered enemies.
- Advanced combat system: to win you need to know both the strengths and weaknesses of your troops and enemies.
- Iratus can kill his enemies not only by magic or claw but also by draining their sanity!
- Each minion has six unique abilities for a total of nearly one-hundred abilities for you to command.
- Four talent trees that alter the way you play: Alchemy, Magic, Ire and Destruction.
- Roguelike elements: minions that die are gone for good and the game saves automatically, making each choice irreversible.
- Detailed 2D graphics and a gloomy atmosphere of dark fantasy.
- Various difficulty levels, satisfying every type of player from novice to hardcore.
- Iratus himself is voiced by the voice-acting legend Stefan Weyte, famous for his performance as Caleb in the cult game series "Blood"!

Small casualties are not a problem for victory.
If you played Darkest Dungeon and wanted a more thorough exploration of that combat system, this is it. It's very good and very intricate. You will find builds that you think are broken; you will be humbled.
A good game that would be great had the devs had a clue on what they were doing... example, you have an ability "Cold Grasp - Unable to move on your next turn" that you cast on an enemy when they are set to escape, yet even though they "can't move" they run off. Just one of the many examples of where they $%^@ the bed where skills are concerned. Typical of many games they days, their idea of being "hard" is making the enemies either become too difficult/OP, RNG "leans" in their favor and they get multiple attacks in a row, even after reducing their initiative, You need to use specific minions to beat certain enemies, even though you've been playing through the levels with a decent team makeup and by the time you get to said boss, it's almost too late to level those specific minions. Another great example is fighting a specific enemy and your minions are low HPs, you beat the enemy only for them to come back, full team, with the main enemy full HPs and tougher than the first time... ya...
I really like the idea of playing the side of the villain! A whole bunch of undead creatures at your disposal, each one with different skills and perks. Mix it with trinkets, spells and potions, and you get an interesting tactical turn based combat game. The only downside, the last levels become veryyy slow, as the enemies get really tanky.
A great alternative to Darkest Dungeon
Well if you are a Fan of Darkest Dungeon then you love this. This Time you play as the monsters. Very Easy too pick up and play
This is such a underrated game. it plays like DD but with features that set it apart. You are Iratus, a Necromancer tof great power so his peers sealed him. He is not apart, but he can use spells. And he comments like the narrator in DD! your goal,. is to destroy the whole world so he too can die in oblivion. When not fighting you are in your HW which is a lab. You can create a plethora of monsters. The currency is bones, flesh etc¨ You also unlock talents for Iratus. There are artifacts etc. It is HARD, Like DD. But this really is it own.
I bought this one sale because I was looking for something to fill time, and instead found a very pleasant Darkest dungeon type game, I thoroughly enjoy the loot/leveling system and the fact that you can literally craft new monsters. I ended up sitting down and playing it for 3 hours straight and the sun was down before I even noticed. Enjoyable gameplay, easy to learn and love, with a nice variety of monsters to use for your team. Got it on sale for 3$ and feel like I robbed the poor guys.
Fun game. Interesting story elements.
