About This Game

Somewhere in the future a hostile alien race conquers most of the galaxy. To battle aliens scientists had developed the “Millennium Soldier” project by cloning two super-soldiers. Armed with blasters they will battle scores of monsters, robots and boss aliens to save us and get a well-earned reward.

The game itself is very entertaining – its one of those good old shoot-em-ups that you remember and boy do they make a good show for themselves! The classic scheme of “go forward, destroy, get some new toys, kill some more” works perfectly, like always, even after a few hours of playing it's still fun to watch all of those explosions and slaughter. During your quest of annihilation you will find some extra weapons that will help you keep yourself together and enemies in parts. Most of these weapons are classic, but in game a like this it's a plus, not a minus. Overall it's a great peace of a game that you will have fun playing – alone or with a friend!

Features:

  • Gameplay packed with so much action it has little room left for anything else.
  • A wide variety of weapons and enemies.
  • Diverse levels with enemies, powerups, bonuses, secrets, bosses and puzzles.

I remember reading about this game in gaming magazine some 25 years ago but I haven't tried it myself until now. And I finally understand why I always heard good things about this game. You are a clone of a super soldier trying to stop the alien invasion. Gameplay is simple but huge fun - just run & gun! Can't help mysel but the overall feel is very Duke Nukem-like. Especially DN: Manhattan Project just from top down view. Your ingame character even looks bit like Duke and you can save hostages as well. Only here its not babes but dudes :) You have limited amount of lives (which in my opinion is a good thing in this case) but you can save your progress in between the missions. The only thing I dislike (in any game) is the limited time you have. But I understand it's there to make the action more swift and you can find a lot of time power ups that should give you plenty of time to finish the mission. Another big plus is that the game supports modern high resolutions so you don't have ...

I want to love this but the movement and aiming is hardwired to one thumbstick and i cant tolerate it.
