Blackwell Convergence

I would say skip the first 2 games. This is the first game in the series that is actually good enough to recommend. Funny thing is it is still a short game but is paced so much better than the first two games that it feels longer even if it isn't. For the first time in the series the story of the game doesn't feel like a buildup to a sudden nothing, it is instead a decent ending with a I wonder what will happen next feeling. The unnecessary notebook gimmick is gone now the note book is just a logbook, still unnecessary but at least it doesn't get in the way. Joey is utilized better and finally the writer understand that there is no narrative justification for him to be the one to talk to ghosts all the time. A solid short advanture game. Maybe part of the reason why I ended up feeling much better after finishing this game was that I did not repeat the mistake of listerning to the commentary, I cannot recomment that enough.

I liked the first two games but this one makes them pale in comparrison, its clear Wadjet Eye have gotten better at mechanics, the puzzles and storytelling quite a bit. The commentary supports this as it gives a lot of developer insight. Really enjoyed this one!
