Rating: 4 out of 10 Molecule is based on Atomix (a DOS game from 1990). There are also some free clones like Atomiks. I don't know if the puzzles of this version differ from Atomix and the free clones, but this version seems to have a few more levels, no time limit and also some nicer visuals. The quality of the puzzles is questionable, since I beat the world record even of later puzzles on my first try (and I am no puzzle expert). Some more detailed statistics to compare own results as in Zachtronics games would have been nice. Pros: + not as complicated as it looks, only some difficult to solve with few steps Cons: - short (3 hours to solve all levels without hints) - many levels too easy (many world records on first try) - mixed diffulty curve (even some later puzzles are very easy) - music (I disabled it since it is not my cup of coffee)

About This Game

40 levels, 40 unique molecules, countless atoms, spin plates, triggers and puzzle fun of the rather challenging kind are waiting!
Put your visual-spatial skills to the test as you compete with players worldwide to build molecules from atoms using the least number of steps. Over 40 levels, 40 unique molecules, countless atoms, spin plates, triggers and fun facts about science are waiting! But beware, this puzzle game isn’t easy. You’ll need to get your brain into gear to successfully solve these levels.
Created by visual effects artist of multi-award winning film ‘Gravity’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, Molecule’s game design is unexpectedly simple. With retro-inspired graphics and demanding riddles, this game will transport you back to the ‘golden age of video games’.
“Games should be hard. The whole grown up life thing is. Why should a game be different? Something fun isn’t fun because it’s easy, but because it offers a sense of reward for an attainable achievement. We don’t look back to the beginning of computer games because we could finish them all in one sitting. We get captivated by nostalgia about spending, days, nights, weeks stuck on the same boss, with friends, in the dark. An easy win is not an adventure, and adventures is what we want to remember.”

Interesting and intriguing puzzler. Definitely challenging. I applaud the developer for prompt and quick fixes to any issues, and the recent critical bug I noticed looks to have been completely fixed. So I am giving this brainteaser a thumbs up again.
It's a good game and good to train up your brain .

very cool
A fun little game to pass the time, somewhat challenging at times and you get to learn a little bit about chemisty in the process.
This game is great! I downloaded it while waiting for a much larger game to download and found myself quite addicted to it! I got stuck on a few levels, and would stop playing it but as soon as I stopped my brain would find a solution and I'd be right back at it again! Great game. Thank you.
