Visualizers are low quality. Low programming skill. Better to just watch a youtube video of the old Winamp visualizer. The only good thing is this being in VR but the included visualizers are low quality and there's an IAP to be able to see the rest.

Decent effects, but you probably want to buy the DLC expansions so it doesn't get too repetitive. Can also run in desktop mode, so you can have your music player or other windows on top.
I enjoyed this in VR. It will be great to use it at my next party on the TV. My only suggestion that would make the app better is to make the visuals change when the songs change. That would make this app go pretty good to pretty damn good.
SUMMARY: A great way to turn any music (or sound) on your computer into various patterns and displays. If you have a media system or want to run a nice sureeal background and some music on a TV, it's perfect. Plus there's downloadable expansions! MIRAGE is essentially "music screensaver plus," but the words don't quite do it justice. It takes ANY sound on your computer and turns it into one of many abstract, colorful, or psychedelic displays. You can also choose a vareity of settings to switch it up, rotate it, or stay with one display you like. Best of all, if you really need more, there's several downloadable style packs to add even more kinds of displays. Of course this isn't for everyone. I use it on my media/gaming system to create abstract and colorful backgrounds when I write or when we need something ambient and low-key for a party. You could also plug a computer running it into a TV or projector to set the mood or provide a nice background for an event. Who's it for?...
Experienced on the Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my gameplay & review here: https://youtu.be/Xf4YtHOvSRs I owned the free to play version of this game. I decided to just go ahead and buy the game to support the devs. This is a good VR music visualizer. Some visualizations are better than others, but in general, they are all of good quality. Some just seem to flow better with music though. My only real criticism, is that I wish it were easier to play your own music from within the app, rather than you have playing it in the background. YouTube integration would have been awesome. Or at least an easy way to play our own music. Warning though: there is in-app purchases and they do NOT come with your purchase of this game. You have to buy the DLC separately if you want those particular visualizers. However, you do not need to buy them and what's included in-game is pretty awesome as is. I might buy some DLC to support the devs even more. [b]Rate 8/10. Hi...
While some improvements of the visuals could be made, I really enjoy the experience this visualizer provides overall. Keep coming back to it. I've now bought the in-game DLC's as well and there are some real bangers in there. Highly recommended!
I may end up changing this review later but as it stands now, I am unable to download the packs that I paid for
This really and truly is a spectacular visualizer, one of the best I've experienced. If you can, definitely experience this in VR. It's worth it.
Honestly, I was reluctant to buy this, because it looked extremely underwhelming in the previews, but it exceeded my expectations in every way when I actually played it. The only feature I wish there was, however, was the ability to edit certain patterns to your liking (for example, things like the color sequences in modes like Aztek, the "noodle" density in swarm, and background colors)
We need access to the store for the DLC visualizer packs etc. The store will not work after the game updates. Seems the only way to fix that is remove this game from the library and redownload and then immediately go into STEAM library settings for the Mirage app and uncheck the "automatically download updates" box. The store should stay functional so that purchases can be made. Then update after the dlc is purchased/unlocked.
