About This Game

Maoti is raised by his mentor and trained to become a herbalist in the northern wetlands. The northerners adhere to an all-encompassing Order, which strictly controls everybody's fate. But not everyone is happy to follow the rules and the long-lasting age of peace is coming to its end.

Corvus is a magus living in the harsh desert. His people are at war with another clan that also believes to be chosen by Pyros the fire god. Corvus finds a way to invade the distant land of the northerners, where his clan could gather resources to fuel the war effort.

As the two fundamentally opposed cultures meet, great conflict emerges. But the gods have their own agenda, which happens to involve both Maoti and Corvus, as well as a girl from the earthy kingdom and a girl from the land of air. Together, they are destined to change the world.

The game is now available for free on Kongregate (by the own developer, not piracy) with more content than the paid version, so if you buy this, you're paying for a downgraded version of a free game.

An enjoyable little puzzle-adventure, in the graphical and movement style of an old JRPG, but with no grinding stats and no turn based combat. Only a very small amount of combat at all, which is more like a timing-based puzzle than an RPG stat-fest. The puzzles aren't especially challenging, but the story is nice enough to cover for that. Also good atmospheric music. There's a mini-game free on Kongregate (just google for "nebezem kongregate") that will tell you whether you'd like this one or not. The mini-game took me about half an hour, and the full game took me 3.6 hours to finish (though with only 2 of 10 optional side quests). A worthy game at its $4 price-point.

nice little game, easy to play and interesting story the thing i miss however is that we only follow the story of 2 of the characters, i'd like to see the whole story of the others as well last; i hope another one is coming for the remaing ones, and yes i know about the one on kongregate since that is the reason i found this game.

I was really disappointed in the game. The prequels on kongregate are far better and thought through. I liked the prequels so much and they hinted at such an interesting universe that I decided to buy Eternal Link. It's a good thing it's cheap. After only 7 hours playing, the game is over (and that's playing for the first time). Having the prequels in mind, I was expecting a point and click adventure game, something Monkey Islandish. Instead, I feel like I got a much more limited universe than in the prequels, with only a couple of screens available, and a game where you basically are told where to go all of the time, and you must strictly obey the instructions and not think for yourself. It's basically just pressing arrow keys and Z mechanically over and over again for 7 hours. Puzzles are rare, and forget about the point and click part. It's basically just walking around one screen up, one screen down talking to NPCs. It's a shame, because the characters, universe and story do show ...

I liked this game very much! It's very peaceful and not too hard, although what people call the teseract puzzle was very difficult compared to the rest. I am in love with this world and cannot wait to see if we get another adventure in it. I would've liked it even more if we could have played/witnessed the air and earth girl's way to the center of the continent rather than just the fire and water characters. I was looking forward so much to their travels after playing 'The golden scepter' and 'Mind trials'!

I played the prequel games on Kongregate.com which made me excited for this. I suppose it's worth the small price if you want a few hours of a fun little puzzle game, but I honestly think the puzzles on the free prequel games were more challenging and fun than the ones in the actual game.

This was a fun game overall. I came here after playing Tales of Nebezem: Golden Scepter on Kongregate and enjoying it, so kudos on that kind of advertisement. The mythos was an interesting dive, and most of the puzzles I had fun solving, so I found the game to be great overall for its price.

It's so gay! I love it. In all seriousness though, this is a really great game, especially for an RPG Maker game and for $4. Some of the puzzles were easy, some were frustrating (tessaract) but there was always a way to solve it. There's also no real fighting, which makes it flow better, but can be frustrating cuz you accidently hold the forward key just slightly too long and you get killed by the enemy. Fortunately though when you die you don't lose like any progress and if you and the enemy kill each other at the same time the enemy is still dead! After a certain point, the story started to feel rushed, but that's understandable. It takes a LOONG time to make just a 30 minute RPG Maker game and this game is 6 hours long. I can't imagine how long it took the developer/team to make this game! So, yeah, I really liked this game and the short side story game on kongregate and would love to play through the other two elemental characters' stories as well.

I found out about this game through the minigame Tales of Nebezem: Golden Scepter on Kongregate (which is also fantastic!), and decided to keep an eye on it. Once it was released and I realised how cheap it was, I figured I couldn't not! I love this game!! The writing is cute, and the story is interesting, and while you can see some of the beats coming, there are enough interesting twists and turns to keep you engaged with the story. The sprites are well-drawn, and each character feels visually unique, as well as personality-wise. Each of the Nations of the game makes sense, and I love the character interactions & relationships at the end of the game.

I played this game through in one go, and I found it pleasant all the way through. If a continuation to the game is in the works, I would buy it, so I definitely recommend it if this is your type of game. It's quite story-based and a puzzle game more than an RPG, so that's something to be aware of. I would suggest checking out the free, shorter game Tales of Nebezem: Golden Scepter to get a feel of the style of the game, along with some back story to a part of the game. Now for what I enjoy. The story is quite nice and flows really well. The puzzles, well, I never felt overwhelmed and that's honestly a good sign. They made sense and played out charmingly. The mapping is really nice, feeling more alive than many other RPG Maker games. As a great plus, the developer seems invested in trying to improve on the game. The so-and-so. While it was nice that the puzzles were manageable, it would have been nice with a few more challenges - and possibly some more optional and/or branching quest...
