Quickie review, as its the last day of the sales and this thing deserves more love. Played on Index with Index controllers. Saw this deeply discounted and figured why not. I honestly wasnt expecting much. Right off the bat, thing didnt want to start (launching from within VR dashboard)! Tried twice, then decided to launch from desktop where I was presented with a few options - this way worked, yay! There was a little intro, small flair which plenty of indie games forgo (for better or worse). When greeted with the menu I wasnt completely liking the navigation. You had to point and hold aim for a second to select things, felt like a Vive 2016 tech demo, my expectations were dropping >_<; Into the game I go. Controls are a little odd on Index - you are shown what look like Vive prompts - with you needing to press the little trackpad (or you can use the thumbsticks) to change the colour of the ball. At this point I am thinking I will probably attempt a few l...

About This Game
Travel through a world of neon, solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles. This experience requires focus, concentration, and timing to let the ball rolling as fast as you can. Remember... in a world made of neons... you will need balls to survive.
Neonwall is an innovative game that mixes the genres of puzzle and action to develop an addictive and frenetic gameplay. You do not handle the ball, you interact with it and the world around it. The objective is to take the ball to the goal avoiding the obstacles that block the way.
The way to interact in the game is with two colored lasers controlled with the joystick, the lasers can break blocks, move them and most importantly exchange the color with the neon ball. The color in Neonwall is very important! The ball moves faster, opens doors on the floor and walls of its color. Lasers only interact with elements of the same color. In short you have three colors have to be exchanged between the lasers and the ball, if done correctly and accurately victory is a possibility.
THE EXPERIENCE
The most immersive experience is with the use of a virtual reality viewer, if you do not have one, Neonwall has also been optimized to enjoy with a joystick and your monitor.

10/10 Fab. If you like tricky "twitch" puzzle games and you have a VR headset this is for you. I played this on the Vive and loved every minute of it. Thanks DEVS - I'm following your every move from here on.

This is quite an addictive VR puzzler. Very enjoyable and definitely recommended
Got it on sale for $1 and its a steal for that price. Fun little game that will have you on your toes as you are trying to quickly change the colors to match your path. Gives some great retro vibes as well
Fun fast paced puzzle game. Snagged it for $0.99 during the summer sale :D It really ramps up the difficulty in the later levels. If you are having an issue with a blank black screen while trying to launch the game check out a fix that worked for me in the discussion tab.
This game is simple: Get the ball through the level by changing its color but there's a bit more too it. Every 5 levels or so you progress and unlock a new mechanic such as dragging or breaking a block in your path, switching directions, speed boost, jumping, super jumping, and more. I find it to be pretty fun although I WOULD ONLY BUY IT for $0.99 which is what I paid for it or a buck or two more. $10 for this game is not worth it. Looking at the achievements only 5% of players play for more than 2 hours and 25% don't even beat the first level LOL. There are many bugs and glitches such as the menu buttons not working when you pause. When this happens you are forced to restart your game and lose progress. In my 2 hours of playing I have completed 30 levels and I think there are 50 total. So for $1 I would give it a try.
