As your fight is.. Eternal Doom Eternal while it is sooo much fun to play it's also quite challenging beside fighting the demons you also will need to manage your ammo and how you approach each demons. One of the things that i really liked about this game is very much tools you were given to kill the demons and you can be creative with your own way. Like how you can switch from ballista to the heavy machine gun quickly to deal quick big damage and how you can swap your super shotgun to combat shotgun so that you can do big quick damage close range. there is however some demons that are quite annoying to deal with, i do know that they are made as a opposing challenge or roadblock that you will have to defeat. but you are the slayer after all so if you mastered on the combat-side they would be no challenge for you. I absolutely love and adore the music, im a metal genre fan after all and hearing the music while you're playing is such a fun way to play. just when that music kicks...

Not as good as previous doom , absolutely loved that game it was chaos the whole time , if you like having to spend most the time jumping from ledges and trying to make gaps and falling to death then you’ll like this , very well optimized game just doesn’t have that crazy seemless action like previous , you kill a wave of demons then spend 5 mins jumping pointless ledges that isn’t even necessary, I find myself just trying to push through game to complete it
rip n tear until it is done 11/10 great doom game so far u should let ur parents play it they'll love it for sure
Doom Eternal Feels more like an arcade game due to the lives counter, bonus lives, fist damage nerf and beginning tutorials compared to doom 2016, its not a bad game the music is amazing but it just makes you feel weaker like instead of the demons fearing you it feels like a bee hopping and button spamming sim. Its an okay game but If you want a game that makes you feel power full and not like you have to dodge and spam buttons than Doom 2016 is better.
It makes you use a launcher that works like shit because why not, now you can't even play the game, bethesda ruined another perfectly fine game franchise
Bethesda is a cancer on the industry that became big by marketing themselves to children and then even convinced them to let Bethesda put Bethesda's name on their mods. ID software has now chosen to send a big FU to everyone who payed for their product and instead chosen to become a part of cancer gang elite. This game used to be good but then it suffered the same fate as anything that has success on steam. The publishers let it run its course on pc until sales are below a certain point. At that point they start editing the coding and everything in order to streamline it for a different platform, maybe even different controls. This all at the expense of the people who already legally payed to own the product. Its not like they will notice that someone is sabotaging their property and editing code post actively since they are busy playing other games by now anyway. Then later on if they want to play it again they find out that the state of the game is now in some messy shitshow where h...
I am guessing all the positive reviews are from people who don't crave the fundamental basics of doom... lots of shooting and gore without much thinking. This game bring you into a world where there is customisation of weapons (with barely any variance anyways...), too many cut scenes, and FAR too much Super Mario-esque platforming... Like literally having to jump on to floating and moving platforms, and dodging spinning flame rods. Am I playing DOOM or some re-imagined Koopa Castle? The battles are fun and the heavy metal's pumping, but the 5-10 minutes of platforming in between is a huge bore...
10/10 game for releasing your anger to poor demons after a bad day with a$$hole people
Fast-paced gunplay, baller soundtrack, flashing lights that activate my singular braincell. What's not to love?
Never thought I would dislike a doom game so much. It has an external launcher that if you close, closes the game too... Typical bethesda overtaking and changing your screen settings too. I especially dislike the gameplay, they focused on changing weapons and executions... so you are basically changing the weapon to fit the enemy, leaving an enemy low, executioning, same with the next enemy. The mouse feels weird, the controls are yanky, there's insane snapping for everything but jumps, you are telling me doom guy can't grab a ledge?? Come on!! The weapons are basically the same as in the Doom 2016, the upgrades are also the same. The levels are filled to the brim with enemies in a non interesting manner. Upgrades hinge on doom guy being extremely yanky to control so you can "upgrade" out of it. THat's just bullshit man. I didn't even get that far, just got the 3rd gun, and left it there, it's literally a bad Ctrl+C Ctrl+V of Doom 2016. I probably won't touch this game again, e...
