While the concept feels like an interesting take on the tycoon game genre, the UI feels VERY unpolished. For size : - empty title screen that compares unfavorably to default RPG Maker's - buttons that are just yellow text on a dark grey rectangle, that you sometimes have to hover and sometimes click - room building menu that is for some reason bundled up with personnel hiring and flower pots, yet somehow contains too many items to fit on one screen and has to be scrolled down - main screen workload bars rendered useless once you have 2+ clients and you have to open each client window to get useful feedback on each workload - UI that just eats too much of the main screen on both sides. Jill I love you but you need a smaller phone. - pretty forgettable art style - and so on and so forth This game has some good ideas but it needs a serious visual overhaul to be decent : 5/10

About This Game
Welcome back to Smooth Operators 2!
Smooth Operators is a classic Tycoon/Simulator where you build your own customer service company and lead it to financial success!
Be the architect of your building, hire employees to fulfill your contracts, develop your business, and keep your employees happy!
Watch your company come alive and grow while your building reach the sky.
Smooth Operators 2 offers a deeper simulation, where focus is put not only on balancing operational workloads, but all aspects of running a functional outsourced Customer Experience operation. The building mechanic is reimagined to allow the player to create a very dynamic, organic and unique office building. All characters classes - not only Agents - have a clear objective in the game, and the player needs to balance and satisfy more workloads each day, as well as developing the business in a controlled fashion. The game also includes a new Research system that the player can prioritize how the player sees fit.
But managing your Customer Experience company won’t be an easy task!
Employees will get upset if you don’t consider their well-being. You need to balance your staffing to handle all types of workloads that comes with building a company.
Smooth Operators 2 also offers a unique interface - an intelligent NLP/AI driven chat functionality with Jill the receptionist, who serves as your guide through the game.
What type of CEO will you be?

Smooth Operators 2 worth playing, i have played many Corporation games but they all being like the same after couple of minuts nothing more to upgrade or to expand, but this have so much more to do, so many different tabs of stuff and operation rooms, i have played it for 2.2 hours and i am already stuck to it, The chatting thing is also something that helps in the game, you see it in the beginning of the game when you start your first company. it also tells you if you cannot put something out or if you can do, and gives you small hints at some points. as long as i have been playing i have not found any fps problems no bugs or something that feels sketchy about the game, Highly Recommend if you like Corporation!
Super fun, just like the first one was, but with more QOL improvements and better graphics. Definitely love this game already, and would 100% recommend it, especially if you enjoyed the first one.
Don't normally play games like Smooth Operators, but was curious since i had a background in the industry. And boy is it accurate, LOL! This game is spot on, nice humor and cute graphics. Highly recommend! 😊
Was looking for a game like Corporation Inc. for a year or so, came across this game and tried the demo which was exactly what I was looking for, but had a major bug that made it almost unplayable. I am happy to say that after playing the release version I have run across no such bugs yet (although others have and the dev has patched them rather quickly :D ). Recommended to anyone looking for a Corporation Inc. replacement, I don't play many games like it so not sure about who else would enjoy it, it's a lot more active than most idle games I've played though (I wouldn't classify this as an idle game but it's the closest genre I've played to this).
This game seems like a lot of fun but has massive fps drops just from moving your cursor around the screen and a lot of the buttons in game don't register when you click them so you have to spam click them. It's a shame because it looks like a fun game but for now it's unplayable.
Game is pretty fun, but just bit tedious to interface with. Needs work, has bug system that spams the game. Only was able to solve through reinstall - seems discord has been dead since May '23
I hope this is a work-in-progress... The overall game design is pretty good... However... I have constant issues with clicking buttons and the game not quite registering (see the mouse cursor click indication, but it doesn't take)... I also have ongoing issues with large groups of employees leaving, without being notified, looked and suddenly half my staff is gone...??? I have spent days, trying to watch the load on restrooms/cafe's, there should be a report that would tell me usage/cue, so I don't have to sit there and watch... same with "transport" for additional options: I would like to have it auto hire, to maintain filled seats when I assign a job role to position. I would like to have it auto schedule to distribute staff (sub divided by job title). I would like to have it allow setting a room to a specific job title (ie Inbound). I would like to be able to set thresholds for auto answering requests... I'm sure there are things I just don't know yet, for optimizing the play to p...
This "simulation" is not great, but not bad either - it does give some hours of distraction and is somewhat challenging at times. Give it a go at a sale
I played the first one and enjoyed it, this takes it to another level and builds upon the original. This is a good game if you have an itch for a straight forward simple business sim. Only gripe I have is I wish the UI was a bit easier to use. Such as selecting individuals from one screen, or showing employees by salary. Just small stuff preferences. Highly recommend the game, even at full price.
