X-COM: UFO Defense

If u are gonna play this game before do it install OpenXcom, it add a lot of things to make it playable after all this years, and is needed if you want to play with mods. The game is a 10/10

A Timeless classic. XCOM is unparalleled in the modern gaming world. Today they don't make games like this. A real turn based strategy game.

One of my all time favorites, bought this after playing it during the 90's, when the franchise was revived by Firaxis. For anyone wanting to play this, get the OpenXcom version too, which is a free and open source project since it has many QoL improvements over the original and it is moddable. You still require content files which exist in this release (or any release from any other source) in order for OpenXcom to work.

This game was released 32 years ago. The gameplay and replayability is arguably better than many games that have been released in the last 20 years. While this game is great, I would recommend you go online and find OpenXcom, which is this game, but with many fixes and improvements that this game would have received if the internet was as widespread as today.

It's an old game but it's a great game that is very addicting to play. I love the play style. It's like a digital board game where you and the computer take turns. You have to pay attention to the ground level, second floor, third floor and roofs of buildings or you'll get nailed. So much fun! I wish they would remake this game with the technology they have today.

The OG, the GOAT, the game that had me addicted from the first day I played it. I keep coming back for nostalgia and because the remake just doesn't have the same feel, the same scope. Yes, worth the price, all the more if you love retro games.

This is the video game that started it all! There were other games, of course, but none as challenging and educational as X-COM UFO DEFENSE. Many who game find this version of the X-COM series to be the best. Players have far more options to choose from, and far more control.

Amazing classic, could use a rework, in terms of gameplay and mechanics it surpasses modern games.
