This game is as addicting as ROR2 was on launch. the soundtrack gives some good island bangers. 10/10 fun. game looks great and runs well. My only wish is that they add hats down the road.
Its Crab Rave in [strike]3rd person[/strike] crab shooter form. The music in this game always puts me in a good mood; that has been helpful for me lately.
The game is genuinely fun. Some really awesome weapons and abilities as well as a large variety of mods and perks that make the game's progression feel great. Also some of the best movement I've seen in a roguelike. With that said, the negatives are that half of the weapons feel almost exactly the same which is disappointing since the ones that do stand out all feel really fun to use. The game also just desperately needs more content to keep replayability since once you beat the game on max difficulty with a few weapons there's pretty much nothing left to do. It has a lot of potential I just think that there should be some more well thought out boss fights that feel tailored and interesting as well as just more mechanics and progression since it feels like 20 hours is as much as the game is going to get out of me.
This game is shockingly fun. If you like the idea of a run-based, power-escalating third person shooter, play this game. It's way more fun than ROR2.
Eh. I hate the weapon system a ton. Too many passive upgrades that add nothing to the actual gameplay. It isn't like ror2 with items that change the run in interesting ways like tesla coil and meat hook, and it isn't like issac with both unique starting characters and a lot of in game items. Overall I'd say this game has nothing unique or interesting about it compared to other games of the genre. It doesn't have unique classes, items, etc just weapons that have different attack speed, damage, or hitbox. Not for me at all. Way too uninspired and unoriginal.
the ghost of noisestorms dead brother searobrine haunts my runs and influences the luck of me and my friends sometimes he joins my lobby with a fucked up name and unused icon thats probably above diamond, its actually not that bad though he normally gives us good luck so hes chill like that.
i skipped the installation thingy and the game is very laggy and the players are bugged and giant and theres random colorful lights and idk how to redo it
Surprisingly fun roguelike. Honestly highly recomend. First session with a friend we played 5 hours straight7
0/10 Would Never Recommend. There were crabs in this game, this put me in utter shock when I first booted up the game and saw this. Unacceptable.
