Rhythm Doctor is one of those rare rhythm games that feels both deeply intuitive and astonishingly innovative, offering a musical experience that’s as emotionally resonant as it is mechanically precise. Developed by 7th Beat Games, this indie title sets itself apart from the rhythm game crowd by embracing simplicity on the surface while subtly layering in complexity and narrative depth. At its core, the game asks you to press a single button — just one — on the seventh beat of each bar. That sounds laughably simple, and for the first few minutes, it is. But very quickly, Rhythm Doctor morphs into something much more intricate, introducing syncopated rhythms, shifting time signatures, visual distortions, and even deceptive audio cues that turn each level into a test of focus, intuition, and raw musicality. The brilliance of Rhythm Doctor lies in how it teaches rhythm through gameplay rather than instruction. Traditional rhythm games often rely on visual prompts, but this game cha...

About This Game
Rhythm Doctor is a rhythm game in a world where defibrillating patients' hearts in sync with their heartbeats has healing properties. Slam your spacebar in perfect time on the 7th beat, and they might just come out okay. But beware - every patient has unique illnesses based on complex music theory: polyrhythms, hemiolas, irregular time signatures...if you don't know what they mean, don't worry. Rhythm Doctor is designed to make you learn music and rhythm theory without even realising it!
- 20+ handmade levels, each with their own story.
- Every level introduces a different concept of rhythm theory in an accessible way
- A large cast of doctors and patients feature in an overarching, character-centric storyline
- Play the story solo or grab a friend for drop-in drop-out local multiplayer throughout the whole campaign!
- Robust level editor to make, share, and play community levels! Use your own music, place notes snapped to the beat, and use 50+ different visual effects and backgrounds
- Challenging "Night Shift" versions of each level for the brave
(Note: 2P mode only works locally. Online 2P via Remote Play is enabled for this game, but it does not work that well right now due to varying latency)
Rhythm Doctor features flashing lights and colors. Please use caution if you have experience with epilepsy or any of its symptoms.

Game is very good and lots of charm put into it, it is not finished however but future updates are planed and there are custom levels from the community to keep you occupied
Do you like rhythm games? Do you like story? Then you might like this game. For a person who has played their fair share of rhythm games and also plays instruments. I enjoy this game a lot. It starts off easy and slowly progress to more complex rhythms and ideas. Also only needing to use one button is fun
The creators of this game really knows their music theory. They put the fun in fundamentals! Definitely my favourite rhythm game so far! I'm looking forward to what they do next :D

A must play rhythm game
If you love Rhythm Heaven, you will definitely love this game. The difficulty spike is significantly noticed at a later levels which contributes to a lack of friendliness in terms of sightreading the levels included in this game can be challenging to some (In this example, sudden quintuplets which was not actually covered by the tutorial and context switching is expected). As someone who relies on audio cues than visual cues, it's never been easy to get a perfect run on the first try and the game does its best to give more replay value by restarting the level to get a passing grade (B). For some reason, I cannot get my inputs to be as consistent as possible as of the review time, but I'll give the game plus points for making sure that the perfect window judgement is as wide as possible (+/-80ms). For a rhythm game, this is forgiving for a Rhythm Heaven style game, which Rhythm Heaven lacks in general because Rhythm Heaven's timings are stricter than Rhythm Doctor. These fa...

Esse jogo é tão bom e com uma ideia tão simples. Inacreditável que ainda está em pré lançamento
I love this game so much. I love rhythm games and none are more and interesting than this one. It had cool art and can be so beautiful, all the characters are fun even though the writing is usually pretty cheesy and cringy and they are not crazy interesting or very different from what youve seen before. The gameplay of this is just so good though. The mechanics are super interesting and theres so many fun things they do with them. so many levels are so fun and different, all unuiqe and creative. The soundrack is also insanely good and there are so many smash hits. WOULD SO RECOMMEND PLEASE PLAY YOU ARE RIPPING OF THE DEVS AT THIS PRICE
