About This Game
A strange signal... an alien craft... an interplanetary, gravity-defying journey through space and time.
On the anniversary of the Jupiter disaster, an alien signal transmits construction blueprints for an alien craft, which humanity builds, called Exo One.
Master a truly alien traversal system and move through enigmatic and desolate alien landscapes in ways you've never experienced. Control gravity itself and build momentum to reach colossal speeds and exhilarating heights.
Ride thermal updrafts into boiling cloud formations, careen down hillsides and launch off mountain tops, all the time drifting toward the shining blue beam on the horizon. Atmospheric, diffused visuals are merged with otherworldly sound effects and a hypnotic electric guitar soundtrack.
Pilot your craft on mankind's first voyage outside the solar system, and go on an interplanetary journey across space and time.

Looks very pretty - screenshots promised gliding through alien worlds and soaking the scenery. I was hoping it would be about moving fast and spending most of the time in the air enjoying the view, in a sense of wonder. However, the execution doesn't hold up for me - there's a requirement to engage with and worry about movement mechanics every few seconds, which takes away from the scenery soaking, and the movement mechanics themselves never lead to a satisfying high (at least within my play time). I was not having fun, and decided to cut my losses.
My dreams are like this game sometimes
Odd, calming, and just a fun casual game to play when you don't want to think too much. It's a nice change from the norm with some beautiful visuals and sound. You might say it's a breath of fresh air. :)
the idea is great, but so short and so empty that it's almost a scam. Don't get the game for more than 1€
80% off and now I see it would have been worth it at a higher price. You just never know with this wafty, floaty genre. Sometimes they are just nonsense. This pulls nicely from 2001: a space odyssey, so you get a nod what direction we're going in... aesthetically and literally
This is what games are about. And a unique experience topped with solemn emotions, with great music, sound design, smooth gameplay. Just great all around. Even a perfect lenght.
hehe funny alien superball go brrrrrr
It's very immersive and engaging but it would be nice if the game explained ANYTHING. I got an hour in before finding out power ups were a thing and I had missed like 5 already. As a completionist, I hate this, because now I either have to beat the game without all the upgrade, which irks me, or restart and play the first hour again, which I hate doing.
If you get why this is enjoyable, you're going to love it. It's like this: 1. Intuit the controls. 2. Take in the beauty. 3. Allow your mind to be still, and your body to relax. 4. Be transported far away from your concerns. I'd classify this as the sort of rare action game to play when one wishes to be very unstressed, such as right before bedtime. I bought it for cheap recently, and not sure if I would have paid the list price. I'm very glad that I have it now.
