Sigh, where do I even begin with this one? Chromium? check. Bad game engine NO settings? Check NO window options? check terrible controls? check terrible hit detection?> check lack of any explanations, even controls? check poor grammar and english? you betcha! this is early access, 99% of the screenshots you see, are NOT in this game. the sword attacks terribly, there;'s no way to regain health, everytime you kill an enemy a gigant HUD blots of either side of the screen, and then you get through level 1 - become invincible, and fight a : guardain" boss that you can only hit a few times once every 15 seconds. And you never take damage. And then a cutscene * haha * plays out, half of which you can;t read if you're on the darker side of the level. and then the game says it;s early access, that's all! and then you get stuck on a screem that says CHOOSE ONE! it doesnt say WHAT to choose, or WHERE you cick or what button to hit, i randomly cicked my mouse around and somehow advanced t...

About This Game
The Intern is a indie game created by a player to another players.[/b]
The game tells the story of a young newly formed desperately sought a chance in the labor market. A strange message and a subsequent accident end up taking her to know a new dimension where it is incubida to seek three masks that allow itcontrol the elements of creation so he can take his trainee post of the Gods. However our "hero" did not really care for morality rules, shortly after realizing the scale of the multiverse and its place in "history" it shows its true face and slowly she will find out who is she and what will reach the coveted job in this divine stage.
The game features some classical mechanics already known from other metroidvania style games, j/RPG and platform. A single Summon & Mana system make things more interesting around here. In The Intern the power of the player varies according to the mana he has accumulated and how much can accumulate (something like your Ki), the masks allow you to control the different types of mana in addition to providing unique attacks to the player. Summons combinations, masks and skills give options for the player enjoy the game, match they bring side effects needed to overcome challenges and defeat monsters. All of this is not enough? The player still can evolve their summons to release new forms and special attacksthat will serve to help others or just cause destruction. She doesn't care.
Play fast or explore it is your choice.
Many other things are already - or are planned - to enter in The Intern: Mini-games(1 ready), deep story, anime style, support for control, achievements(not ready), collectible card(not ready), leveling system elements(ready), virtual immortality(ready), travel between dimensions and times(not ready), references of batteries and easter eggs(Ready a little) and more.

User Reviews
The art style of this game is very pleasing to the eye. The pixlated animations are beautiful and the game is very "cute." However, with the game in its current state I can't really recommend it. There is no explanation of the level up system in game. When jumping in the game it's very hit or miss quite a bit of the time. Also, the story is very hard to follow. Some girl in transported into another world and now has to fight stuff? It's hard for me to follow. But maybe that's all a part of the plan. I will keep looking out for updates on the game and I hope that it develops into something great. Another critique I have is that the english isn't spot on. There are a lot of gramatical errors. Normally, I wouldn't mind this, but a few of the dialogues in game were hard to comprehend.
I have to agree with the other reviewers. The story is intriguing, and the art style is pretty nice. But the controls are unresponsive and glitchy. Attacking is slow and I wasn't even sure what all the moves do. One of them seems to pull up my menu and use MP, but otherwise nothing happens. On top of that I fell off the first platforming segment four times in a row. I'm not the best at platforming, but I'm not usually that bad the jumping was just really awkward. And when I say I fell off I don't mean I died. I mean I fell off and then was able to walk along the bottom of the screen across the map. Until eventually I walked over a portion of the bottom of the screen that was actually a hole and died. I'm not sure which part of that was a glitch. I feel like there is a good game in here somewhere, but personally I just bounced off the control system hard. It is in early access though. So hopefully the control scheme will be smoothed out. My concern is that it's not a bug, and it's int...
Unplayable, Maybe next time... :( Sorry.
Love the art style. Big anime fan. But that is where the game seems to run a bit short. Combat is slow and unresponsive. I had times where I clicked my mouse to attack and nothing happen. Then jumping felt like a game of chance everytime I tried to clear one area to the next. Music glitched out for entire first area just the sound of jumping and getting hit. Death comes quick as you only get a few hits. By the time I reached the boss of what I think is first area. Rage mode was engaged. Lvl up's aren't explained so had no idea if I could power up or what? Then couldn't even find a menu to try and set up controller over keyboard. For those reason just wasn't something I could really keep trying. But the art style leads me to hope in the future they will fix these things
You can't even navigate the menus properly. I'm told I have the soundtrack. Damned if I can find it. Not in the game files, not in the Steam files, I didn't move it to my iTunes collection. And when I verify the game files supposedly it all checks out, even those those dlc files are nowhere to be found. Just no.
Best indie game I've played since cave story. 9/10 Only not a 10/10 because it crashed once.
