Panzer Strategy

This could be a good game. It's got some issues though. First off the map is really cluttered. It's hard to tell what units are where. Also the animations really slow the game down. Whatever "wow" factor they might have had for the first half turn fades fast. Other than that it's another Panzer General 2 clone, of which there are at least a half-dozen better examples out there. I'll probably play it more at some point, give it a second, third or even fourth chance. But again, better clones out there even though this one definitely tried to get attentions with it's graphics.

While the ambition is there, the execution feels uneven, resulting in a game that’s functional but rough around the edges. Gameplay mechanics offer a familiar turn-based strategic experience. You’ll command historical units, manage supply lines, and try to outmaneuver your opponent on expansive battlefields. It tries to go deeper than Panzer Corps with more detailed stats and layered systems, but the UI and pacing can feel clunky at times. Score: 6/10. Narrative is mostly forgettable.
