This is a pretty fun, super basic jrpg kind of game. Half the fun is the absolutely ATROCIOUS translation. I mean its really bad, but in a hilarious way and its not quite bad enough that you dont know whats going on.

The legend of bean is a cute rpg/jrpg game by Windward_Birds, the graphics and sounds are what you come to expect from an RpgMaker game, not bad, its has been done well, it does have some problems there though, the sound does cuts out now and then. Along with the sound i came across 1 other problem in the game, that was sometime you would find an npc, in your way and you could not get past them, which was easy sorted, you would just leave that area through a door close by and re-enter and the npc will have moved. The combat is fast paced, the npc's dont wait for you they will just take their turn when it comes up, so be per-pair to be quick on those fingers. Oh yeah and watch out for those pesky speeders, yep you heard me right, speeders. You will find some npc's racing around the screen at break-neck speed, if you want to get past them just hit 2 button in the direction you want to go to speed ur self up The story is the usual fair of an jrpg, so dont be expecting anything ground...

This is an amusing little RPGMaker game. It is made by Windward Birds, who appear to be of Chinese origins. I mention this, since the translation can be... spotty in areas. Other than that, it is a very decent game, fun plot, interesting characters, and the combat system is... different. Literally, there is a clock winding on the side, determining when your characters can act. It will not wait for you to make up your mind... It is worth its price.

The Legend of Bean is a rather good RPG/adventure game on the RPGMaker format. Not quite innovative, especially the storyline, but with a fair gameplay. At no point I felt lost like not knowing where to head to. I appreciate that after the main quest is completed you can still travel through the whole game world in order to defeat other bosses and eventually get a 100% achievements. I don't care if the grammar isn't perfect, I'm not expecting the same language level as in a book. Dialogues are perfectly understandable and that's enough for that kind of games. As far as language is concerned, I only regret that the achievements descriptions are not translated but most of them are story related and the others can be obtained by beating all the bosses. That's all you need to know. And at worst one can still use online translations ! Considering the price and the hours of entertainment the game provides, I do recommend it !

This game seems like it's going to be dumb and mindless, but it's really not. It's actually quite challenging. If you like a good challenge go for it, you can't go wrong with it's low price!

This game dosnt waist your freakin time it just jumps through 1 quick cutseen and then you start killing things and then it's gameplay is a mix of realtime and turnbaced strategy and battles go by fast its perfect for speed running grinding isnt as tedious i hope you see where i'm comming from so I don't have TO WAIST MY FUCKING TIME EXPLAINING IT its a quick paced game and i'd say you'd get A lot more than you'd expect and for only 3$ its worth your time. and the first two charaecters you have are simple to understand two mercinaries just tryin to get bye it's the third one who shakes things up by being a princess and most of the main story inpluments on who the charaecters are the first two haggle through and you will get paid after story events which is very nice and the princess is kinda just a ufo to me i dont exactly get most of her perpous but her powers make up for it. this game gives you alot more than your bargening for and it's so underrated it's baffeling spread the word a...

I'm hating how many negative reviews I'm writing lately. This game was not made by someone who is English and I don't fault that against them. However the difficulty curve in this game is bizzarre. Plus I'm not sure what the developer wanted you to do, but this game has an inordinate amount of money grinding for gear in it. And it gets ridiculous pretty early on. This is compounded by the fact that this gave has an ATB system which I haven't seen in RPGmaker before. However this is bad since there's no like 'wait' mode, and unlike you which has human faults and reaction times, the AI doesn't in this game. Which becomes very obvious later on when you have to do split second reactions to get the moves off in the right order. Also as a side note something that RIDICULOUSLY pissed me off is that one of the minions to the main bad guy is a cross dressing incubus. However since apparently NO ONE KNOWS WHAT AN INCUBUS IS, the developer calls him a succubus. Succubi are female, i...

The story isn't something special, just the basic good guys vs.
bad demon, who got unleashed by another bad guy
. Compared to the Sequel it has a better combat system since it's actually challenging as you need to have quick reflexes. The English translation is better as well albeit still not that good. What's nice though is that you have a few more bosses after you finish the story. Though with the basic strategy they aren't really difficult, but rather time consuming (the strongest took me about half an hour without max. level). Overall like the Sequel nothing you have to have played, but nice enough to pass time with.
