About This Game

A Journey Through Valhalla was developed by three friends in their spare time and is by no means a AAA game. It still gives you several hours of fun and even more so if you like beating up your friends!

Discover the worlds of Yggdrasil as you and your teammates help the Gods in this three player co-op Action RPG where you use your powerful abilities to lay waste to the enemies of Valhalla. Level up and build your character with our advanced skill tree and powerful weapons.

Co-op

Don't worry if you can't handle the boss alone. Just bring a friend or two along to keep the boss occupied while you stab him in the back. But make sure not to accidentally stab your friends while you're at it!

Dying

Death is not the end. Each try will get you and your team closer to your goal. You probably want to change tactics if you keep on dying though. Also, watch out for that friendly fire!

Looting

Look for the loot to find a host of powerful weapons, and useful armor to protect you in battle. Or maybe collect as much valuable items you can carry to sell for traits and gear back at the shop.

I think this game is pretty decent (especially for it being created by 3 people in their spare time) and shows a lot of promise. I'd recommend playing the game with at least one other person as it can be pretty hard solo, but it still provides a pretty enjoyable experience when playing by yourself. I think this game could benefit from some balancing changes (namely the first boss and the chances of getting better gear, especially for the wizard class) and more content. besides that, this is a pretty cool game. For $6 I would say it's worth it, if you're unsure on whether or not to buy it, I would recommend at least giving this game a follow.

This is a fun game even if you are playing solo. Playing solo is rough because the game was meant for 3 people to co-op. There are some game mechanics I think it needs such as a way to swap out weapons sets during combat and maybe an easier way to loot items. I would also like to see more way to gain experience than just feats. Maybe making skills level as you use them would be a way to go. But, I still enjoyed playing the game, and would recommend it.

changed my resolution to 1080 (which should be normal, you'd think) it zoomed in the screen so far i cant reach the settings to change it back, cant pick up items, and can't play the game. The voice acting in the first cutscene is (i'm assuming) done by the creator, which is cool, if he didn't sound so unenthusiastic. The story part of the opening is super overdone and so very similar to valheim's opener its not even funny. So with the game being broken because i committed the crime of changing the resolution to normal, and the already copy-pasted prologue, i'm not going to recommend this. You could've put some more work into some minor things like, the settings, or maybe, the dual-screen compatibility. (it does not do well if you alt-tab to discord on another screen.)

it has promise to be a good game but currently its too unpolished for my taste. im still going to keep it in case they update but until then its too buggy/janky.
