This was the first time I bought a new game with no reviwes. Why? Because I'm a fan of Pryapisme and I've been frequently listening to game's OST. And I wasn't disappointed? because it's like videogame version of Pryapisme's- it's weird, it's addictive, it's enjoyable and it's french. People who don't really appeciate the weirdness of french artist might not fully enjoy it. Also one of the rare examples when I've watched entire opening cutscene not because I was unable to skip it but because it was really fun. 10 cleaning VHS tapes out of 10

About This Game
Dive into the bizarre world of Epic Loon, a quirky physics platformer for up to 4 players playable in single player, couch co-op, or battle mode.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
An offbeat tribute to classic sci-fi movies, players lead a group of aliens to take over Joe’s TV after they are rudely awakened from their home, an old-school cleaning VHS-tape.
Either go it alone, or play cooperatively with friends. But NOT ONLINE. You're gonna want to grab some snacks and get the empty candy wrappers off your couch, because you'll be sitting next to actual people, playing in the same place, at the same time! However you decide to play through the story, you'll be unlocking new bits of the game that you'll then get to rampage through in.
Remember those friends you had over for Story Mode? SURPRISE! They're now your sworn enemies. Race against the clock as your friends race against the SAME EXACT CLOCK, and come out on top. The fastest player gets first place. Are you really going to let people you invited over take the crown away from you? What, do they think they own the place? CRUSH THEIR SPIRITS.

What a crazy awesome game !! Random thoughts :

Weird parody universe that made us binge-play until all was unlocked
Flappy tongued diplodocuses. Very tongued. Very very flappy.
The soundtrack is incredible !! :3 meow
If you finish a level first, you get a physics gun to troll the other players. That the best part !!
Or you can just self-explode and mess the physics for others ^^
Overall, it's an addictive physics game with a steady learning curve. Quite difficult at first, and rewarding when you get better at it !
We didn't have so much fun in couch gaming since Overcooked. Addictive couch games to binge-play are rare !
In Solo, play in Speedrun mode, the IAs are effin' trolling you. #protips
This game is supposed to be played with IRL friends and ruin IRL friendships, but since I don't have any of this I guess I missed that aspect of the game. But still, it's fun to play alone. I loved how it made me rage with fury when I failed and happy when I succeed. It's been a long time since a game made me feel like that. The backgrounds and art style is one of a sort and in my humble opinion pretty amazing. I also loved the glitches. The voice acting is annoying at times but not bad. I liked the jokes I could understand (I'm not a native English speaker), and just have to mention the "advanced settings". Good thing I'm not a vegan, otherwise this review might have become a negative one, lol. I also felt the nostalgia, so I guess that part works as intended. The soundtrack.. No, that won't do... THE SOUNDTRACK has became more or less my personal soundtrack of the year. I mean holy crаp. It fuсking deserves a review for itself. The story mode is pretty short and it took me only 6 ...
This game is like. the definition of underrated. I randomly remember seeing it sometime when it first came out, but i only just recently played it. It's not perfect but god it's fun, it's funny, it's beautiful to look at and the music makes everything better tenfold, it actually makes me sad how little this game is known, there's barley anything. And yes it's not perfect as said, the way the controls are at first suck and takes a lot of tweaking, and there's this one part in Nosforacula with the steering wheel that is such an abysmal dip in quality, but i truly fell in love with this game and wish the world knew it better, from what i understand the main dev team no longer exists, and I've seen nothing from the band since this game was dropped, but i would do ANYTHING to give these teams to revisit this, the premise is so fun and has so much potential, the fact there's only 4 levels and the game doesn't have an actual ending sucks, but it is what it is. If a developer who worked on thi...
The controls for the menu alone are so boot wack to just get into the game. If you're using keyboard and mouse it is so incredibly frustrating just to start a game. You can't even start a game without having to press every key in sight. Reconfiguring the controls and having to just figure out how to go through the tutorial with controller buttons only showing is very unhelpful. The fact that the manual doesn't show up before hand to give insight is quite frustrating as well. The whole concept and design is beautiful, but the controls are so insane it is very hard to just enjoy without screaming in frustration.
An absolute masterclass in over-stimulation. If you're a fan of over-stimulation, break-core incredible visual design or old style horror movies, you'll love this!
This game is so odd and so fun. They have so many great references to great movies like Godzilla, Jurassic Park, and Ghostbusters
AMAZING i only wish you guys would make dlc for more movies that would be awsome
Highly recommend if you like puzzlr platformers mixed with 4 players and some 80s/90s VHS visuals. The concept to fresh and the gameplay is fun. Well worth the price.
Really fun platformer game! Love the aesthetic!
