[H3]Remember spying on your neighbors in the first game? Now let’s make it more complicated and throw politics into the mix. Welcome to a world of corporate absurdity, bureaucracy, and moral traps, where every choice can turn you into a hero… or a corpse. You’re no longer just a bureaucrat; you’re part of a secret agency tasked with spying, manipulating, and occasionally ruining careers. Gameplay is more strategic: explore the office, collect dirt, decide who to help and who to betray, and think twice before pressing any button. Sometimes you just want to shout: “What kind of job is this? Did they slip me some psychotropic drugs?” The world is cold, cynical, and often downright dark. Employees with secrets, ambitious bosses, laws no one understands. The black humor comes from the fact that you literally play as a tiny demon of bureaucracy: spy, manipulate, and survive while the world crumbles around you. Verdict: Beholder 2 is for anyone who loves moral dilemmas, bureauc...

User Reviews
It's just really boring and tedious. It also takes too long for anything to get done. Half the time instead of actually doing something you're just walking around or waiting for an animation to complete.
it was great
its just not good
While it's true you have to walk too much and the limited fast travel feature doesn't really help, the game is still quite enjoyable. I'm glad they got rid of the time pressure from the first entry. I liked to play this at my own pace.
Interesting, plotwists, dramatic and grotesque. Very enjoyable.
This game is not too bad. The theme is exactly what you expect. The characters and the story seemed enjoyable. You have to make some not-so-important but ethical choices and it is fun. Are you going to become one of the cogs of the system or are you going to have a personality? My gripe with this game is how much it disrespects your time. Your character slowly walks for each interaction and then away from it. They added some quick travel into the game and it makes a HUGE difference however it was not enough. Eventually I started playing the game with cheat engine to speed up the game while walking around. I would have recommended the game otherwise.
Fun game
formula is a bit different from the other games but its still great
Incredibly tedious and lacks anything remotely comparable to the depth, intrigue, and moral conundrums found in the first game. I have no idea why the reviews are so positive, but I can assure you that if you enjoyed the first game for anything more than the mere setting, you likely will be quickly bored by Beholder 2.
