About This Game

Galaxy Race is a VR sports game in which the player takes control of one of a handful original and colorful characters. Equipped with GraviDecks - a futuristic high tech hooverboards, the Graviators race against each other on various tracks somewhere in a galaxy.
Beside beautiful sights, tracks also consist lots of pickups giving the player access to throwing discs, mines, shields, power boosts, accelerators etc. Collecting these bring the player one step closer to the victory.

This game encourages players to use their motion in a fluid way. A right mixture of body balance and cunning will be essential. Our original and very attractive “GraviMotion” steering system is a completely new and smooth way to control your avatar in virtual reality.

Meet the Galaxy Race Heroes!

Last mission didn’t end according to plan. Now thinking about never doing a quest with Gourrian again she heard a radio transmission. "Are you into breakthrough technology? Mount a GraviDeck, race against other Graviators!" Tired with searching for hidden treasures and solving environmental puzzles, Margia applied for the Galaxy Race Tournment.

A broke and careless adventurer whose last mission did not end quite according to plan.
Now searching for a new quest he noticed a peculiar note "A new adventure awaits! Be the first to become a Master Graviator! Get the GraviDeck and race across galaxy!" Tired with killing rats and smashing barrels, Gourrian applied for the Galaxy Race Tournament.

Hiding in the Thieves Den and looking for a way to go off the radar for a while she got a message from an old friend. "Look what I've found, an official GraviDevk race! You used to be good with skateboards, these kids won't even know what hit them!" Tired with picking locks and sneaking through vents, Piro applied for the Galaxy Race Tournament.

Taking a long deserved break at a local Inn, Sawinar overheard a couple gossips. "Yeah! They, like, give you this hoovering board man and, like, teleport you to different places around the galaxy where you.. it's like a race... with WEAPONS!". Tired with grinding and the taste of mana potions, Sawinar applied for the Galaxy Race Tournament.

I'm afraid I cannot recommend the game. The visuals are good, but the movement method is weird and lacks immersiveness, regardless of motion sickness. I feel like there should be an actual tilting platform under my feet when playing. Like it should come with a Wii balance board or something. Leaning whatever way on the floor doesn't feel right, throws me off balance a bit, and pulls me out of the game. I'm also not sure what the other people here mean about getting the hang of controlling it, because I seemed to be doing a lot of not turning when I was leaning whatever way and otherwise careening off into the walls. That said, oddly, the racing pace feels slow. Like the boost speed should be the normal speed. Disc throwing is also just annoying, rather than being a neat mechanic that I want to get better at. Aiming a throw in VR is already spotty at best and now it's combined with racing and being off balance. A shooting system would be better.

Cool idea and a bold one since the movement is actual fast paced movement rather than standing in one place or teleporting. With that said I suprisingly wasn't nauseous as I expected with this type of gameplay. The controls are bit hard to master, I nearly fell over about two times doing the tutorial for the first time but once I got the hang of it they proved to be quite satisfying to use. The disc throwing is nice and plays well with VR. There are only a few levels as of now but it's early access so I it will most probably change. 10/10 won a race while sitting on the floor.

Interesting concept, like the idea and I already can see how they can expand and make it better and more immersive. I had a similar experience where at first I did not get what was going on, then I started to get the hang of it and by the third race and was so far ahead of the computer it wasn't a competition... please keep adding more content!

Good game! Not enough contents but what's there is enjoyable. You can turn while strafing and do all those Wipeout things.

The tutorial was fun. but the game itself has NOTHING of what's promised here/ the tutorial, no charecters, the campaign doesn't actually work, and all the races are the same
