$0.69? It's worth it. It is a fairly simple game with a simple story.

About This Game
If you're familiar with the Flash scene, you may know the original version game. I plan to finish this series solo as our programmer quit near the end of finishing Chapter 2. This version of Chapter 1 has been completely redone with a more detailed art style, a bunch of new items, a longer story and much better character development.
Key Features
- Classic turn-based battles influenced by classic Final Fantasy games, Dragon Quest and EarthBound.
- Over 100 pieces of equipment with various effects and elements to experiment with.
- A range skills and abilities to use on your dozens of foes.
- An introduction to the series which sets the scene for the grand adventures to follow in future chapters.
- An original sound track with a lot of heart.
- 3-4 hours of gameplay

Amazingly cute game! The world was fun and inviting. The only downsides were that enemies popped up a little too frequently, and the character you can pick to join your party was a much lower level than you. Can't wait for the next chapter!
It was a very fun game, a nice improvement on the original flash version on Newgrounds. I especially liked the extra story you added at the start because it gave more depth to the characters and it made the game a better length. The art quality is also very good, but most importantly the battles are a lot more smooth to play through compared to before and go at a much better pace now.
For as inexpensive as this is, I reccommend it, its fun. But I do have some minor complaints that I hope are fixed in the future. 1. Add more than just 4:3 aspect ratio 2. WASD controls as opposed to arrow keys and mouse 3. No gamepad support 4. Slightly tedious menu controls, because of keyboard Otherwise, great game and I am looking forward to the future this series and Enkian Games! After playing this I plan to buy Tale of Enki: Pilgrimage!
Cute game, but realy short. Took me about 2 hours to beat. Waiting on Chapter 2.
I really enjoyed the story, I hope it will continue...it's a good game
