About This Game

We're a small indie developer with the ambitious goal to create a unique VR shooter that you, the community, will love as much as we do. Being video game enthusiasts ourselves, we’d like to invite you to join us on this endeavor – share your thoughts and suggestions with us and let us together shape this amazing VR experience.

The core of Wanted Killer VR is an innovative movement system called “Tactical Teleport”, which lets you maneuver towards a specific location in bullet-time while all enemies (and their bullets) move in slow-motion. The clue is that teleportation can only be used on enemies momentarily after killing them – this allows for coping with even the most intense situations and a beautiful mix of action and strategy, which we consider the secret sauce of Wanted Killer VR’s gunplay.

In Wanted Killer VR, you play as dual pistol expert Ricky, allrounder Mia, shotgun brawler Teo or master sharpshooter Aya. As you progress through the single player campaign, skill challenges, or wave-based survival mode, a unique brand of teleport system lets you experience player-driven bullet-time-shooting with a twist. Paired with a flow-based combo system that invites you to take out enemies in style, Wanted Killer VR allows for unparalleled strategic combat as you dash between opponents and complete diverse challenges in spectacular settings – including skyscrapers in the clouds, a mysterious genetics lab, and an ever-changing subway station.

Create your very own action sequence and chain together kills using a variety of weapon types – pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers, sniper rifles… they’re all yours! Created to offer visually stunning one-of-a-kind gunplay, you can expect innovative weapons and fluid controls when you unleash vengeance against challenging enemies in diverse and beautiful levels.

FEATURES

Wanted Killer VR is a frenzied first-person shooter that puts you in charge of the WK4: a trigger-happy squad of mercenaries on a mission. Choose which of the crew’s four heroes to play as, and use their teleportation powers and sharpshooting skills to fight your way through the ranks of an organization that wipes out anything – and anyone – messing with their bottom line.

  • Four heroes, four styles: Play your way with a choice of four unique heroes. Unleash dual-pistol damage as Ricky, get up-close and personal with Teo, strike as stealthy assassin Mia or cut loose with machine gun-toting Aya.
  • Tactical teleporting: Take control of your enemies and their weapons with mind-bending teleportation powers. Devise creative attack strategies and leap into VR combat like never before.
  • Locked and loaded: Earn coins for completing challenges, level-up your weapons and pick your perfect loadout to survive an onslaught of deadly enemies and bosses.
  • Hunt down the truth: Fight your way through a stunning VR world – from shadowy subways to wide-open rooftops. Only you have the firepower to complete the campaign and unravel the story behind the evil corporation's scumbag CEO.
  • Flow-based combos: Take out your enemies in style to trigger combo-based scoring rewards. It’s time to unleash every trick in the book!
  • Say it with bullets: Shoot to survive in high-octane, wave-based Skill Trials and test your mettle against a host of different enemy types – from fragile but fast SMG specialists, to flamethrower-wielding brutes.

The idea is good, but the developers really need to hire an actual game designer to sit down and design the missions. The whole 'selling point' the devs keep pushing is the ability to teleport to a dead enemy's spot and take their weapon. Sounds fun right? Well, the entire game is built to DISCOURAGE that gameplay. Remember that game mode nobody likes in ANY game? Yes, Wanted killer has escort maps, and LOTS of them. Most missions are either ESCORT or DEFEND, where you need to stay within a tiny spot around a drone or else the timer stops and you need to go back into the zone to continue. So teleporting out is just a waste of time. Enemies just infinitely spawn until you finish the escort, and getting weapon changes and pickups require you to teleport out of the zone. The entire system is just counter intuitive, its like the devs somehow cant decide if they dont want you to move around or to stay. Theres a grinding system that somehow exists for no reason other than to just keep y...

If you own WMR instead of the htc or occulus offerings then like me you have probably been dissapointed with most of the games that work with it. This game was the first one I tried that actually felt intuitive, immersive and most importantly of all FUN. If you are looking for a good vr fps that works with wmr go no further, even in EA this is a ton of fun and so far the best vr experience I've tried by miles. I cannot reccomend this game enough. My biggest complaint is that I can only give the single thumb up when titles like this clearly deserve two. The one black mark I'd put on this review is that the game feels somewhat grindy after a few missions. Unlockables require plenty of replay which isn't uncommon in games but usually it's the most tedious missions that need multiple play throughs and at least for me that was enough to pick something else up without looking back after a couple hours of play

Its exactly like the guys in the interview describes. It's an arcade game and fun. 10 dollars is a good price point.

Where do I begin... The voice acting is mediocre. The controls are broken right out of the gate. In the beginning of the tutorial, you see a loading screen that says "INSERT TUTORIAL TEXT HERE." How old is this game? Almost a year. Okay, that's a good sign. The gameplay is weird. It's mostly escort missions. You defend a robot as enemies shoot at it. The enemies come from 2-3 directions incredibly quickly so you get overwhelmed. You'll either die from being shot 3 times, or you'll die because you were busy dealing with a group of enemies while another group flanked you and killed the robot and now you have to start over from the beginning of the mission, which is about 15 minutes down the drain. The only good thing is the character designs. The only anime element to it is the art you see in loading screens and on the title screen, but beyond that it looks like a budget Borderlands 2 with really cheap cell-shading. I wish I never bought this because it's too late to refund it and ...

Very cool game, it totally has this 80s arcade feeling to it! The shell shaded look, delightful corny 80s action dialogue lines, the weapons (especially the shotgun) have a great sound and blast to them, and the music really fits the quick flow of it all. Also the free movement mode was comfortable and not making me sick. Not only is this game huge, it's easy to use and for all ages too. The premise is simple, yet exciting and you break out a decent sweat :-) It's a really solid game for an Early Access, without too many major bugs. Got some feedback though: When collecting keycards in the wooden boxes; when all wooden boxes in one area have been destroyed, maybe disable the zone, so I know I've cleared it completely? If you're looking for a casual, ease-of-use 80s action packed VR game, then Wanted Killer VR would be it.

So I played an hour, went through about 5 levels. Makes my hands hurt lol, lots of action. The number one thing I noticed throughout the entirety of the levels was that this feels a hell of a lot like Sairento. Right down to the music and movement style.Less complexity (so far, upgrading weapons seems to just take cash and upgrades the whole weapon, not skill tree style and no wall jumping or flipping movements) but a more polished feel on the whole. The UI. colors, menus, 'level complete' signs, etc all look great. The enemies don't do much different from eachother, the AI movement is predictable as they fire at you, take cover, run to some other nearby cover, and repeat. No coordination between them and up until this point (again only an hour but was 5 levels) no grenades or anything to really scare ya other than bullet dodging. There's enough going on during play that this is only a minor issue though. The weapons feel GOOD! The haptic feedback is bueno and the sounds the weapon...

Trailer made it look fun. The idea seemed fun. Someone else even described it as being a Time Crisis game for VR. Can't recommend it though. Not at all. After the tutorial the first stage is defending a drone against too many enemies that are often too far away, or just love popping up just long enough to get a shot off before instantly ducking down again, and then another enemy or two doing the same thing. Second level? Defend the drone again, for even longer, and now they'll happily stand on the balcony where you're not really allowed to go, and you can't see them at all. I made it to level three, at which point I gave up. It's not defend the drone, but as soon as you locate the objective, you lose half your movement options because the area stops letting you teleport around for no good reason. Fed up with it, done, deleted.

Kind of a bummer that it's been abandoned, but it wasn't all that amazing anyways.

Well, that's a workout! This game is amazing, no frankly. Got some motion sickness in free motion but never when using teleport. For me a MUST HAVE... Worth the price. And if you want a good laugh just record yourself while playing :'D

This game will never be finished because the devs straight up don't exist now. The entire company folded. However they left behind a slightly janky game that has co-op and decent gun systems and interesting teleport mechanics that are sort of FFXV-ish. For the price, I'd consider it a worthwhile VR game but I also wouldn't expect it to last forever.
