This game has prepared me for, lets be honest, inevitable catastrophic pants failure. I highly recommend this game if you, or if you ever plan to work in an office enviroment. In all honesty, it's a fun quirky game, with lots of hidden little gems and sense of humor that delights. For $3, it's more than worth it. I also just love the portion of the animation where you tighten your pants/tuck in your shirt. I don't know why it stikes out to me, but it's kind of stylized detail that really shows the craftmanship if the game.

About This Game

Ripped Pants at Work is a frantic stealth game about searching for new pants. Players control an ordinary office worker on their first day of work. After an unfortunate incident involving a pencil on the floor and pants that were way too tight, the player must venture out of the office and into the city on a hunt for new pants.
Explore a small, open city filled with different pairs of pants! Players can challenge themselves to find the most pants in the shortest amount of time. Some pants are easy to find. Some are a bit trickier!
This happens to everybody! Ripping your pants is one of those things that everyone can sympathize with, but it's still so embarrassing. Every time you play, you'll control a new, randomly generated character!
If you find pants successfully, you'll continue as the same person. If you get caught with no pants, you'll be fired and play as the next person hired for the job!

- Sneak through a small, open-world, city, full of unique locations and people.
- Break line of sight, hide behind people and in bushes, and run across streets and through buildings with a unique brand of stealth.
- Play the game as a different, randomly generated character every time. If you get caught pantsless by too many people, you'll get fired for indecency. The cycle continues with the next person to get hired for your job.
- Best your personal record and see how many pairs of pants you can get in the shortest amount of time!

Ripped Pants at Work is delightfully simple and stylish like a nice pair of jeans. Pants off to Scott Ethington for a job well done! It's nuanced with pockets of unique character and charm in the minute details like your character's pants and appearance not resetting when you've successfully found a pair and the quirky pants-themed society where pants are far more important than in our own, hinted at by the comments of other people and the environment. A pleasure to play with keyboard controls or a controller (I preferred the controller) easy to play and harder to stop playing than expected. $3.00 is a pittance, I'd easily pay $6.00 after having played it.
There are 2 kinds of people in this world: Those who have ripped their pants at work, and FUCKING liars. I'm of the first kind of people, and I'm here to say that I absolutely LOVED this game. Disclaimer: It's a 2.50 so don't expect a Skyrim quality triple A title. The only "negative" thing that I can think of is that if you play for an hour or half an hour, you'll have done all there is to do. The "positive" qualities of this game definitely outweigh that though! The graphics are delightful, the soundtrack is dope, and the overall focus on pants (and the shame that comes with ripping them) is exaggerated the absolute perfect amount. Try this game out, I would bet you like 10$ that it's going to go viral. Check out some gameplay here - https://youtu.be/nxD_At2pWlU
Finally, a game that takes my deepest fears and turns them into comedy gold.
Having put in a decent amount of time to this, having played the original version on itch.io, I can tell a vast amount of effort was put in to improve on this nifty little concept. RPaW is proving to be a closet favorite of mine for winding down an evening. There's a good amount of depth to the little world Scott Ethington's put together beyond the main gameplay of sneakily searching for pants - the humorous quips of random citizens hide classist undertones of a world idolizing the haves and demonizing the have-nots. Each corner of the map holds a unique challenge of stealth with different takes on the same base mechanisms (a bush hides your shame just as well as a rack of clothes). I'm not one to buy into the speed-running metric that's tracked by the game, but I certainly can appreciate the challenge in collecting as many pants as you can (working your way up the chain of the 'have's, eh?), which is compounded by the compulsion to keep moving and not apply the pants you already hav...
This is a great game for the price. You'll definitely laugh and have fun exploring the pants-themed city. 9/10 would pants again
Some pants were easy to find, but some were hard. Even after locating some of the pants, it was challenging to get them. I liked being able to enjoy some success easily, and yet there were also things to do and enjoy that took more effort. I was entertained by it and would recomend it to others.
This game has surprising depth. There's a whole lot of pants to find and a narrative just below the surface about a world obsessed with decency. 10/10 would get fired again.
Been there...
An amazing stealth game filled with great humor! Incredibly fun to play.
