Great game mechanics but it take some time getting used to it and mastering the gameplay. It's quick, it's relentless and best played with a friend of your choice.
https://gaming.youtube.com/watch?v=fg53sfkQyuM&feature=share Battery Jam is a fun little multiplayer game that I initially thought was on-line multiplayer, but is only co-op. Combine Splatoon with Bomberman and you get the idea for this small title, and it's a fun combination. Play with up to four players or three ai bots if you lack friends, change the color of the tiles to yours, win by claiming the most in the two minute time-span. There's a bunch of levels, but there'e only the standard one vs. all and tag team modes to play in. Given this is a $15 title (US currency) that does cayse it to feel kind of barren for a final product. But, at least there's no local-only battle royale mode, so, there's that. But a capture the flag style mode would have been a nice addition for the sake of variety. Truthfully, this is a fun quick multuiplayer title that is good to throw on for parties and kids hanging out after school or in teens in their dorms. Sadly, this isn't something an every day...

Review time 2 days after early access release. So far a bit bare bones but the basics are great. Controls, music and graphics are really really nice. It instantly feels like a high quality game. Right now there is only one game mode in an all vs all mode and a team mode version but if they keep adding more modes and options in the future this has a lot of potential. 10€ also seems pretty fair already, if you enjoy the current mode you can probably get a lot of playtime from it already. Right now there are no bots so you need 2-4 players.

This is a great, creative, enjoyable local multiplayer game. If you're looking for a fun fast-paced party game to play with friends, this is a good option. The new update adds match settings which brings more customization to the game! This local multiplayer party game is very polished and with an added element of procedural generation to the levels has plenty of variety. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in this game and has friends to play it with.

Even though I constantly get my ass beat at this game it is still super fun and incredibly well polished.

This is a bare bones multiplayer game i a similar vein to Splatoon. The point of the game is to turn the stage to your team's color, and you achieve this by walking over neutral tiles, killing enemies with explosives (you can shot others, but it only stuns targets) and a few other mechanics. I think this versions behaves in unintended ways relative to the switch version, but it's still fun. The game is only really meant to be played as an arena type of game, as there's no story mode or anything. There are better local multiplayer games for sure, such as Videoball and Invisigun Heroes, just to name some underrepresented games. However, the game itself is still very fun, so I will give this game a recommendation.

Very polished for an early access game, and already plenty to do! I'm particularly fan of the last update that allows to play with bots! Single player is what that game needed (for when you don't have friends around). The maps are awesome, particularly the latest additions. The game is frantic as hell but just plain fun!

This is an absolute joy to play and extremely polished for an indie title, if you love couch co-ops and are wanting something that you and your friends can pick-up-and-play this is a great hidden gem.

This game is a really cool party game. I never expected it to be as difficult as it is and I have only gotten to play it 2 player thus far but I already know it would be a riot to play this thing with 4 people. I also thought it would be a rather simple mash a few buttons and win kind of game but it actually takes a hot second to think on the fly what you need to do to win. It's such a wonderful suprise of a game although I don't think I'd ever play it singleplayer.
