Could be a really fun game but there's two really big problems: 1: The movement and combat animations feels slow and clunky and just off 2: There is basically no player-base, I think largely because of problem 1 above In a game like this, fluid combat is a deal-breaker for me, and arguably probably most people looking for a souls type game. Want to give it a thumbs up but it's just not there.

So much potential! I'd hate to see this game die, its concept is one of my favorites in years, I love the souls games and multiplayer games. This is literally a dream combination. though there are many issues I for one will give it a pass as long as it proves its willing to better itself. so im gonna set up camp and watch this very, very closely.

Bought it to support the devs. Right now it's not really enjoyable for me, yet I hope that one day the folk behind this game will bring it to greatness that there is a potential for. TO DEVS: In my personal opinion, You already have enough content in the game itself, and it'd be better to focus on polishing what You already have (and You have a lot, I mean, there are enough characters and their unique traits to have a great gameplay already), instead of adding new content that is very raw to the already raw loads of content. I'd rather see a big animation update and overall fix for the characters and objects You already have than few more characters in addition to tons of classes You already have in there. I'm sure that if You focus on shaping up the current content You'll be able to excell, and You've got to excell as soon as possible for the game not to become another dead on arrival Greenlight release. Wishing You all the best

Online is completely dead. Gameplay is also lacking with simple, stiff animations and barely any depth to the fighting mechanics.

ABANDONED!!! https://youtu.be/rolYMf0itsk You can't buy a PVP Battleground game when no one is playing it. No matter how cool it looks. The dev should just sunset this game. Don't waste your money.

MB later this will be a better game, but atm its pretty raw, low content, 0 information about skills, game mechanincs, item description. Dont think it will live long enough to be released as planned. Looks like paid alpha

I wanted to like this game but I just can't. There are no explanations on what to do or how to do anything. I picked up on it only because there was a player with experience in my faction. This game has a cool idea but there are a lot of things need to be fixed. I'm not a cosmetic freak. In-game text and/or voice chat for teams should be an option but there is an official discord group for this. Also for the players constantly complaining there are no players, in the short time I played this, I encountered many players. So much potential.

Why are people so quick to down vote a new game. Negative people and their negative reviews always ruin the chances of gems like Egress to grow. This game rewards players for managing their endurance bars, using abilities correctly, and using positioning to their advantage, just like Dark Souls did. There is a high demand for souls-like combat and premature down voting will only inhibit the growth of this game. I urge those who down voted to wait for the game to grow a little before immediately judging the game as bad.
