oooh boy is this sh*t game. What is it? kind of a bullet hell roguelike in which has the following characteristics 1- fullscreen only through alt + enter (and the game doesnt even bother with that info 2- you have all the movement you are gonna have from the start, complete with double jumps and wall grabs, jump on head kills and thats because.... 2.1- the game happens in one room at a time, the edges of the map loop with their opposites 2.2- everything is 1 hit KO and back ALL THE WAY TO THE START 2.3- hectic enemy movements (who also loop through the edges) 2.4- you reload by taking ammo (drops) which ALSO changes your weapon 2.5- recoil knockback from your weapon (some of which are rediculous 3-In game currency to buy weapons to improve your run. My experience: no story, no nothing, killed the first boss after getting used to the mess of game it was and the room didnt even change, just more of the same enemies i faced before. About This Game
I have been developing games and creating pixel art full time for a little over three years now. I have spent a lot of time studying and trying to perfect "game feel" principles. Gunlock is the first installment in what I have dubbed the "mini series." Gunlock is a small but very polished score chasing game with retro gameboy palette pixelart.
- Stomp on enemies in order to increase combo multiplier and reload ammo.
- Pick up ammo supplies to fully reload and swap to a random gun.
- Gun them enemies down with over a dozen different guns!
- Collect coins to purchase more guns and sexy color palettes!
- Compete against other players across the Steam leaderboards on 3 different stages!
- Defeat 3 Giant bosses!
- One hit and you're dead... so don't get hit.
