Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the "lowest historical price" on steam at time of purchase. Quick score: 3/5 Notes: The game starts off pretty good, but by the end it feels like development was cut way short of what was initially planned. The story feels about 25% complete and ends very abruptly, but in terms of gameplay it is relatively polished and enjoyable, just don't expect to be blown away. The biggest issue I experienced is that the game is broken on hard difficulty, there are 3-4 rooms that softlock your game if you are playing on hard mode and the only solution I found was to quit to menu, switch difficulty to normal, clear the room, switch back to hard and continue. What happens is that you will clear a "wave" of enemies and the next wave will just never spawn. Also a minor issue, the UI for changing difficulty is broken visually but it does function, wont bother explaining. There is a game called "RIVE" on steam...

This is a really fun game to play. The art is great too and the music is fun. I love the controls and the intuitive movement and shooting. Definitly worth more then $7.99. You can tell a lot of effort went into this and it looks really polished. One of those hidden gems on the steam store.
