Remember the old Hasbro Yatzee video game? Well this isn't it. Looks okay, plays okay. But everything moves at a glacial pace with the dice cup being so slow that it makes the game unplayable for me. It's worth what I paid for it I guess, but I'd pay more for a real Yatzee game instead.

Fun game and runs well on Windows, but unable to run on Linux. After repeated attempts to uninstall/reinstall it says that it successfully completed but doesn't download any files to the installation folder. File verification passes only checking for the empty folder. Worth a few bucks, but I can't recommend this product since I can't get it to succesfully install using Steam on Linux as advertised.
fun game however i wish they had a multiplayer version so i can connect with friends to play on line on steam
Games looks and plays really well, with some nice setting options for customization. Far superior to those free little Yahtzee games you find on some websites. What's especially critical when playing games like this, against the computer, is a sense of fairness and randomness, rather than things becoming completely predictable, leading to you winning every time, or the computer winning everything. This game seems to balance things out very nicely, better than most. The only hitch is that it seems to love threes. I roll so many threes. Almost every game, I score a Yahtzee with threes, sometimes more than once. I also don't like the miss-rolls, where you have to roll again. I don't see the point in that, since the computer is rolling, just make the rolls straight the first time.
Very fun game. I like it a lot. Only issue and it's a game changer is the 100% GPU usage I've tried many adjustments to my GPU settings, still 100% GPU usage. NVIDIA GeForce 640 with the latest drivers should be more than enough to play this game without issue.
I am so happy I found this! I had been playing an ancient CD-Rom of Yahtzee for years and was sad that it wouldn't install when I updated my operating system to 64 bit Windows 10. I figured I would never find a substitute. Much to my surprise, this new version is so much better. I am pretty impressed by how customizable this game is. You can change practically every aspect of the game. Usually you don't get much with a game at this price point. It took me a while to adjust all of the game's settings to my liking. At first, I didn't realize that the settings panel had 3 pages. Once I figured that out, it was perfect. It plays just like the good ol' fashioned boxed game I used to play with my aunt as a kid. The only complaint I have so far is that sometimes it glitches and throws the dice on top of each other, or one will land on its edge and not lay down. But this is easily overcome by hitting the reroll button. I highly recommend this for anyone who just wants an easy casu...

Awesome game to play when you have friends or family over. Very realistic. You can change everything in the game from the board, dice & shaker. Also score points can be changed. We LOVE this game when friends are over and so does anyone that never played it here. That's all they want to play now when family & friends come over. well worth the money for sure. Daniel. The physics-based dice seem to be detrimental to the flow of the game. It's too slow, even when set to "fast roll". On top of that, several times during a game I've had to re-roll the dice because they either landed on top of another or balanced on one edge. When lucky, you'll hear the single most depressing celebration of rolling a yatzy that I've ever heard. A group of people will half-heartedly shout "yatzy" as if the game's been pulled out during a funeral. Small plus for being able to change the look and style of the cup, dice and table for variety. For the odd, slightly messy experience you'll be getting, I'd say only buy it on sale. Seriously guys, this needs more work.
a very calming game
