Meme Dragons

Meme Dragons had me chuckling from the very first minute. It's a fun and challenging shooter / dodger along the lines of Space Pirate Trainer, but the added references to ridiculous social memes and VR in-jokes really cracked me up. I haven't given it enough time yet, but I have a feeling I'll keep coming back to it and putting my friends who are new to VR through it.

You've come to the right landing page. This game is a lot of fun packed into a shorter game with high replay-value. It's the game you want to force all your non-VR friends to play this holiday season, and watch them duck, dodge, dip, dive and dodge out of the way of whatever gets hurled in their direction - and you get to watch!

This game is awesome! If you like memes, wave shooters, and good humor, this is the game for you. I’ve never played a game like this but I hope to see more like it! The cutscenes were 10/10

I enjoyed it! It's a very cartoonish feeling wave shooter. Felt a little like serious sam or space pirate trainer. Shoot the lasers at the meme dragons which are throwing memes at you. So you are fighitng some kind of weird internet culture mashup. The music is fun and the visual effects are really cool, you might find yourself dancing through some of the rounds. Would recommend.

Some reviewers here have compared this game to Space Pirate Trainer. That has to be a joke. It's such a bad joke that it may become a meme in the not too distant future. It's a stand still wave shooter with 2 weapons. A pair of handguns that feels like a water gun with bullets slowly getting from point A to point B that even a nerf gun feels more powerful. You could also choose to throw these Qi balls at the enemies with physics that'll make you question your sanity for choosing this option. There's only a few enemies. I finished the game on easy (after the boss there's infnite levels though) in about 12 minutes. I haven't beaten the game on medium difficulty, that's only because the game throws many enemies at you at level 8, thereby making the game difficult to beat (to hide how short it actually is). Maybe you'll find the memes...

One of most creative games I've played yet! I haven't played anything so far that has actually made me laugh the way this did. It isn't the most amazing visual journey or insane gameplay of all time but it's authentically fun in a unique way. I'm happy support this dev and the vr industry to continue making more original stuff like this! This game has definitely made into my showing friends vr list and for that it's worth the price!

Next Level Wave Shooter. This game is sick! Who would have thought shooting at memes could be so addictive?
