About the Game

Temtem is an online multiplayer creature-collection adventure.

Every kid dreams about becoming a Temtem tamer; exploring the six islands of the Airborne Archipelago, discovering new species, and making good friends along the way. Now it’s your turn to embark on an epic adventure and make those dreams come true.

Catch new Temtem on Omninesia’s floating islands, battle other tamers on the sandy beaches of Deniz or trade with your friends in Tucma’s ash-covered fields. Defeat the ever-annoying Clan Belsoto and end its plot to rule over the Archipelago, beat all eight Dojo Leaders, and become the ultimate Temtem tamer!

These are the floating islands where Temtem and humans coexist peacefully. Each island is a whole different world, but there is something we all have in common – our love for Temtem and Temtem battles! Intrepid tamers like yourself travel on airships to the furthest reaches of the Archipelago to find the best Temtem. Every young tamer dreams of becoming the best…

  • Story Campaign: Journey across six vivid islands and embark on the adventure of becoming a Temtem tamer while fighting against the evil Clan Belsoto.
  • Online World: The days of traveling solo are over. In the vibrant, always-online world of Temtem, tamers from around the world can be seen all around you, living the adventure with you, interacting with you, and fighting to become the best Temtem tamer.
  • Co-Op Adventure: You will be able to join forces with a friend any time and work together towards your next goal. Catch new Temtem, complete a Route, or face off against a Temtem Leader; all while fighting alongside your friend in dual battles!
  • Housing: Buy your own house at Atoll Row and decorate it your way. Buy new furniture, color your walls and you’ll be ready to invite your friends over!
  • Customize: Customize your character to stand out from the crowd and get new cosmetics while you battle other tamers. Pick a silly hat, a comfy sweatshirt, some pants and you’re ready to go! Or maybe you prefer to wear a full-on cosplay of your favorite Temtem?
  • Competitive: Start by choosing 8 Temtem and the pick and ban phase will begin. Take turns with your rival to pick your Temtem and ban theirs. When all the decisions are made and the turns are ended, you will end up with a squad of 5 Temtem and the battle will begin.

I wanted to like it as an alternative to pokemon but this game a a slog. The levelling system is insanely slow, the move sets are garbage. God forbid you end up in a place where most trainers use temtem that are resistant to you you'll have to spend hours levelling some new piece of trash monster you find in the wild and hope it has decent stats just to slog through another awful maze of boring battles while walking back to heal every two minutes. This game is frustrating, and terribly designed. Don't buy it. Story also sucks and it takes forever to get anywhere.

Couldn't even start the game because all the names were already chosen.

Had potential as a Pokemon-esque MMO but got abandoned and failed. Might be an acceptable game if you want to play a single-player adventure with the possibility of co-op with your friends, though the story-line didn't interest me that much.

I like it's a good game but the price feels way too high other than that it's basically just being another Pokémon game in the genre the only sizable differences being that you can customise a house aswell as the co-op multiplayer playing side by side with another player all and all it's just ok I'd say worth €10-15 at most though nowhere near the €44 it's at so wait for a sale

This is the most tedious game I ever played. Don't even bother wasting your times. After hour 5 it's not fun. I made it all the way to Neoedo and it was not worthwe. Me and my co-op buddy just uninstalled the game in unision.

I played the stress test of this game in 2020, followed the progress for a bit and then left to let the devs cook. They did not. This game is death by a thousand annoyances, from QoL features being accessible way too late into the game, disproportionate pacing of enemies and wild encounters, difficulty spikes, lack of checkpoints, obfuscating quest objectives in combination with a lack of proper way points, the obtuse decision to hard focus on end game content in a story game. Here is a list of things that I personally ran into while playing single player and coop: I placed a tem in the 10th box when I played it in beta and when I returned that box was locked behind story progression Luma or Shiny tem got powercrept by Umbra that can only spawn after the credits roll A sticker book was added 2 years after launch requiring you to interact with sparkles on the ground all around the map, this quest was placed in the first area of the game meaning if you miss it you have to re-explore eve...

Maybe I'd feel different if I got a little further into the game, but I was hoping for an experience that had more of its own identity and wasn't just "we have pokemon at home". That's exactly what this is, from the clunky grid-like movement, to the names of shop items, to the utter lack of soul in the NPC design and dialogue. I'm also not a fan of in-app purchases on a game I already paid for, but then this is my first purchase on steam that qualifies as an mmo so I don't know if that's normal. I will give some credit: the designs of the temtem I've seen so far are charming, and aren't just obvious mashups of pokemon designs, which I have seen in the art of other games like this one. There are temtem that might *remind* me of certain pokemon, but not to the point that they look like ripoffs. I also really like the tweaks to combat, and the streamlined feel those changes bring without over-simplifying battle. In particular, the stamina system, and the delay before certain moves can...

This game might have stood a chance if it didn't have pronouns. No one wants that. It's a decent Pokemon like thing with multiplayer though. You run around battling and fighting basically gym leaders then go to the new area. Even has a team of bad guys to fight.
