Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2

Did the whole thing 100%. Would be enjoyable if you weren't doing 100% runs. Each game requires a lot of backtracking and pain. The list of all 100% collectibles: X5: All 8 parts, all heart tanks, falcon + gaea armors, all sub tanks + weapon tanks + ex tank, ultimate armour + black zero, all three endings X6: All parts, all heart tanks. blade + shadow armors, all sub tanks + weapon tanks + ex tank, all 128 reploids rescued X7: Glide armor, all heart tanks, all sub tanks + weapon tank + ex tank + all 128 reploids rescued + all parts X8: Icarus + Hermes + Ultimate armours, Black zero, White Axl, all 6 characters at 100% power [u] X5 [/u] X5 has a lot of backtracking for the items. For example, you need to go through Duff McWhalen's stage 3 times just to get everything. It is also very annoying that you need to first find Falcon armor parts, then use Falcon armor to find Gaea armour parts, then use Gaea armor to find heart tanks. Input lag makes the games borderline unplayable. Most of my playtime was on Switch and Xbox (hence the low playtime on Steam), but it's no better here.

Why can't play MMX8 in jap dub with eng text? That's my only complain tho.

Although not optimized for PC gaming, it is still Megaman.

even the bad MMX games have some insane moments... all of these but X7 have absolutely magnificent moments n aspects. it's peak.

Quick review of all the games. Mega Man X5: The gimmick may turn you off but it is a X game and a great original conclusion to what was supposed to be the X series. If you hate the eclipse cannon there are cheeses i recommend you look up, and in the end the game doesn't have many issues besides that. No voice acting which is both a plus (considering X4) and a bit of a shame but this is the last game without it, for what that's worth... Mega Man X6: I hate this game. I've never played a game so poorly designed and annoying and unfun in my entire life. It was so bad I had to rely on Black Zero to beat the game, which feels like extreme cheating. This game is cluttered with enemy spam, bad gimmicks, and enemies that spam bad gimmicks. You can tell this game was rushed for money because of how poorly designed it is. The story is, uh, I don't remember the story. It's extremely forgettable and not entertaining, which is the worst type of story. Compared to the next game... Mega Man ...

x5 : so much text to the point it interrupts the flow . Definitely not as of a good game as i remembered. x6 ,x7 (yes i like x7 more than x5 sue me) and x8 are worth it

Playing these games is like reliving my childhood. These games still hold up to this day and are challenging and very fun!
