About This Game

Sleeping Dawn is a first person survival horror game in which you will play as some kids who have awakened in a grotesque world populated by creatures, mirror of their deeper fears. Dive yourself into this purely dark atmosphere and fight to dominate your unconscious fears.

Procedural maze
Get ready to face this huge procedurally-made maze by looking for the exit. Each single game will be different from the previous one because, at your awakening, the maze will change all the paths.
 • Losing your way is as easy as losing your companions. Splitting the group is never an easy choice, but sometimes it may be necessary.
 • Keep in your mind where you are and be careful on each way you chose: even the right one is full of obstacles. Dark creatures and obscure presences will threaten your journey: facing them or avoiding them is your decision.
 • You will have 4 tools: distribute them based on your play-style but use them with caution because each is a double edge weapon.
 • Learn from the mistakes you make, keep your fears down, study your enemies and cooperate with your friends because your target is the same: manage to escape from this gloomy maze.

Psychasthenia
But remember... Time is your worst enemy: you have only few minutes to solve the mistery of the maze and find the exit.

Alright, here we go. This'll be a fairly short "review" after a rough playtime of seven hours and much, much regret. First off - I did not enjoy myself, but the people I played with had a significant resistance to nonsense and wanted to see if the game is even beatable in its current condition. In case you're wondering: Yes, it's indeed beatable. Out of the... roughly 42 games we played, we've won one. All on easy, with roughly 3 people on average total. It didn't feel like a victory though, since all it boiled down to is sheer luck. My main gripes with the game is probably what makes it so appealing to the eyes of the developers: the time limit, the lack of guidance and the disappointment of how much more useful the chalk could be if the only option you had wasn't a simple "x". Let's quickly go through these: the time limit is absolutely ridiculous. Even on easy, the maze is big enough so that you'll never be able to "map it out" even once anyway and that's assuming you don't...

While initially exciting, Sleeping Dawn becomes extremely tedious after a few games. There comes a point when you realize everything is completed randomized, there are no patterns to learn, no skill to master. It's all about how lucky you get with the layout, as the 10 minute deadline per game session will see you running out of time much much more than you fall to the monsters in the maze (mind you, only one monster is truly difficult, all the others are gimicky annoyances at best). I was having fun with my friends trying to figure this game out, until the point where we realized there's simply nothing to figure out in the end, just dumb luck. After watching someone complete a session on YouTube and seeing the "ending", I find myself even more disappointed. Can't recommend this game. Specially since there's only 2 guys working at making it better and they have refused time and again to increase the 10 minute limit per session, supposedely because it's a way to keep the game "chall...

A good game but i think that maybe get time increase when ur not a full team is needed because me and my friend could never complete it since it was only him and me in the game but the game is really good. it would have been more fun if it had like a player controlled monster also that we have to use what we are given in order to get out! But still a good game just needs a bit of fixing but keep up the good work!

A good multiplayer game, there are not many bugs. It's fun with friends, but it needs a little more variety in the form of creatures. But the developers patch the game even further. Clear purchase recommendation.

This is a pretty fun game. Great to play with friends. Although it is very difficult. I feel like you are not given enough time to find the exit.

This game has a very strong foundation to be something different and fun. Chilling atmosphere and creepy visuals make it very thrilling as you race against the clock to escape the maze. Best when played in multiplayer. Watch my First Impressions of Sleeping Dawn here ► https://youtu.be/NCXQMmoAWP4

I like the game. Plenty of difficulty, although the difficulty options don't seem to actually affect this much. Even on easy, the game seems impossible to beat on one's own. But fun game. I like jump scares and this game has plenty of them.

I recommend this game not cuz its good but because i want more games like this, the coop horror is rare and i enjoy them very much. Anyway it was enjoyable but the timer kinda ruined it, would like too have more options to play the game in more ways.

Super fun - Definitely can be nerve-wracking. I enjoy playing this with 4 friends the most, but any amount is enjoyable. Although there are some flaws, it's fairly enjoyable especially for its price. I'd recommend setting the time limit to 30 minutes at the start though - most newcomers will not be able to complete the level in the 10 minutes that they provide you with right off the bat.
